  • aaauuuuuooooóóóóóómmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - - -

  • Om ma ni pe me hung...

  • thanks for this jewel of LOVE!

  • All Dharmas are liberating! The true spiritual growth causes no illness, but is purely medicine to all who come across it, as per their karma! The realized being has an allure that causes others to give up their suffering can appear in many forms, from physical, to a perfect joyous body like an illusion, to the unformed uncreated pure potential consciousness which is the true nature of all phenomena including us! Om Swasti! Namo Milarepa Namo Shakyamuni, Namo all Thatagathas!

  • I don't care if his hair it to his tip toes. It is the teacher's message. I am not use to the long hair or the clothing actually, I practise Tibetan Buddhism, Gelupe lineage. Buddhism is not a religion for one thing. HHDL stated, if we all lost our religion, we would stil be okay. He was speaking to the masses of all different beliefs.

Far be it for me to critize anyone. I only know what I know, and there is greater learning for me, on all subjects. My opinion means nothing.

  • it's interesting how people who are dead set against religion of any kind are as fundamental and fanatic as any die hard fundamental, fanatical religionist. two peas in a pod.

  • vicknagy keeps flogging "religion is a poison to the mind". i'll counter with the original statement made by karl marx: "religion is the opiate of the people" and use kurt vonnegut's counterarguement against the marx statement: at the time of karl marx opium was the strongest pain killer available to the people, it was something that made one feel good. in this light it makes the old arguement much weaker.

  • Lama Gursam visited Sault Ste. Marie again this August and I eagerly await his safe return next year. Maximum compassion, Lama-Lha!

  • what's happened to compassion for all?

STOP insulting one another OM MANI PADME HUM

if its for the benefit of all it does not matter what you chant as long as you have the right motivation.thankyou, may all beings be free from suffering?

  • Mrs, you've received teachings by HH the Dalai Lama and the Karmapa? I wouldn't know it based on your tone--Don't insult HH teachings by 'bragging' and not practicing.

If you read his bio, Lama Gursam has received an award in excellence from the Dalai Lama, himself.

If you are a Buddhist perhaps you're aware of the negative karma associated with talking against the ordained...

  • I am not sure if stating facts in the defense of my argument constitutes as 'bragging'. I am not and never claimed to be Buddhist or religious in any way. Religion is a poison to the mind and it is the cause not the solution to the ills of this world. You are proving this further by writing such a spiteful and aggressive reply. Meditate on this! May the world be kind to you on your journey!

  • Saying that one "received teachings from" HH Dalai Lama & HH Karmapa would imply you're Buddhist to most people. A non-Buddhist would probably say they "heard him speak" or had "an audience with" him or something. "Received teachings" is a very very specific phrase... That's probably why people think you're Buddhist.

  • your ignorance is showing, miss.

visit H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche whom you can find here on you tube.

High Lama's get specific permission from their Guru's--who are you to insinuate things that you obviously have no knowledge direct of?

  • I had the great honor of receiving the teachings of both the Dalai Lama and the Karmapa in Dharamsala, India. Even his holiness left his left shoulder uncovered while sharing his wisdom with us. There are no exceptions to respectful conduct. I also had an other interesting encounter in London with a real Tibetan ex-monk who gave me some insight into the deceit that goes on behind the facade. So my question is valid....and that would be Mrs.

  • I hosted Lama Gursam in my home last year for a week and will again in January... and I can tell you personally he's a very enlightened, gentle, kind spirit who is the real thing. Vickynagy... why do you judge with such harsh naivety? You should meet him and speak with him then decide whether he's genuine and authentic. By the way, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche has hair and I have a photo of him teaching HH with both shoulders covered... are you going to call him a fraud?

  • We of northern Ontario have the honour of hosting Lama Gursam once a year on his tour of North America. Regardless of his status of monk or ex-monk he is a compassionate individual who seeks to radiate his loving kindness through dharma teachings and his extraordinary wisdom and wit. I have the utmost thankfulness towards this man for opening my eyes to the power of the Dharma and for blessing my Sangha with his wonderful presence. So don't be hatin' , Vicknagy

  • Which line is it exactly in my message that indicates 'hatin' to you Mister Tahiti? Do people have not the freedom to question the motives of others? Do questioning indicate hatred in general? Have I not justified my question with a valid reason in my second comment? ---Those truly 'enlightened' will only realize that religion poisons the mind!

  • There is no question that the Lama's motives are purely benevolent. What I would question is how his motives are suspect simply because of his long hair and his choice to cover his arm. Lama Gursam is a Yogi and it is not frowned upon for a Yogi to wear their hair long. I find it silly to question his intentions because of his simple manner of displaying himself. Wouldn't it be a better use of your energy to commend him for his work of spreading the Dharma or to perhaps practice it yourself.

  • You may find my questioning "silly" Evidently you also find it prudent to use such derogatory remarks in the defense of your argument. That's neither an enlightened nor an intelligent thing to do. That is something you ought to meditate on a little perhaps. May the world be kind to you on your difficult journey!

  • And you one yours.

  • When you said "Those truly 'enlightened' will only realize that religion poisons the mind!", You should learn that the Mind can be good or bad. It can turn religion into poison or into medicine that cures all illnesses of "greed, anger, ingnorance". Before saying such a thing on YouTube, your mind should be cleared of ignorance.

  • only the fools sees faults from outside.

  • it means something like : "Jewel in the lotus", to the best of my knowledge about Budhism. Its the most popular mantra.

  • what that mantra means anybody can explain me please:)thanks:)

  • Keep up the good work and a big thank you to Lama Gursam
