  • Actually I have no idea, how this video is factually correct, far as I know my text says you get expected values by multiplying say 120 x 80/380 to give 21.05, so what's the logic here? Please remake the freaking video! You don't explain assumptions like how you use 21% for a completely diff column!

  • 80 out 380 DID fall sick, you did confuse us brah!!

Thumps up so he changes it!

  • By including the herbs when calculating your expected values, aren't you skewing the data toward non-significance?

  • heeerb heerb is plant mon. it help you meditate. JAH!

  • why do you say "erb", when its "herb"

  • Thanks for this. Just sorted my assessment for this week.

  • shouldn't you be squaring the numerator AND denominator?

  • great, what is your profession ??

  • What is this test good for? I dont get it. If herb1 and herb2 are unique, then you arent making a fair comparison by tossing in the placebo. And likewise if you want to test if either one herb does anything, tossing in the other throws off the data. I guess I dont see the scientific soundness of using this test for this experiment.

  • I don't get why we use the sum of all people to find out how many should have been sick. Doesn't this assume that the Herbs don't help? Shouldn't we use just the placebo numbers to find out how many people usually get sick?

  • Why was it necessary to factor in the "not sick" group? They are the compliment of the "sick" group.

  • thanks a lot

  • "help pervert, erm prevent-" lol

  • Great

  • Could you explain more precisely the difference of

test - Goodness of fit (is distribution the assumed) and

test - (In-)dependence of two "things" (contingency table...) of

    the chi square test?

    Keep on going.
