@MrGuvEuroman Water in the pond is constantly freshened and cycled buy a creek flowing 24/7 into it (supply). The level there is self-regulating through a floating valve to a drain Dave explains in an earlier vid. Water in the creek is reportedly crystal clear and clean, I used to wonder about all the oil/coolant, etc as well.

One way to improve the Redneck shower, would be to have a hose that goes all the way down to the pond, and siphon water to the tank uphill by using another electrical pump that's powered by a home-made wind-turbine.

A home-made wind turbine could be done with a bicycle dynamo and some lightweight material for the propellers. You can use this to recharge a car battery if I am not mistaken.

Nice, a solar shower, just shows you don't always need electricity or gas to heat your water up, just sit a tank in the sun with it painted matte black and you're set for free warm or even hot water... :D

Reminds me of my first house actually, I used a hose connected to my sink taps, and used one of them multi-function hose heads, best shower I ever had... :D

Rick you should mount the water pump under the tank so you don't have to prime the hose. Flip it on and instant water. Maybe cut a square hole at the top of the tank and weld a box on the top and have a lit for that, it would look more like a real water tank.
