Lets tell it like it is. There will never be anyone who will duplicate Elvis. However, we don't look for duplication just a great tribute. I saw Elvis in concert more than a dozen times and met him twice Greensboro and Charlotte NC. Elvis rocked the house where evere he appeared. A tribute such as Rick Saucedo's is a fiirst class act based on respect and talent. Way to go Rick!
In all these years, I've almost never heard it said better. Just last month someone who's seen Elvis in concert a dozen times and dislikes impersonators happened to see Rick perform and said the same thing.
considering after 1961, elvis performed this song live maybe once or twice in the '70s. since this was a '70s show, they're playing it as though it was a live version, in which elvis would usually speed up his songs, although it is pretty fast here. and i agree on the total package thing, which luckily rick is, the look & sound, but in my experience i've found that the best and closest guys who sing elvis look absolutely nothing remotely close to elvis, because they don't impersonate, just sing
good enough nothing to rave about to be very frank . he sounds good but here and there its a too rushed version! By the way to sing like Elvis a attempt to even look like him should have been given top priority! Its all in the package deal!
rick was never KNOWN FOR THIS SONG. sorry to break it to you. doesnt even sound like elvis. i wish people would quit posting videos like this and ruining elvis. its a disgrace to elvis and elvis fans everywhere. makes me sick.
rick was known for this song, unless you followed his career closely over the last thirty years...you wouldn't know what he was known for. your opinion is recognized but you do not speak for "elvis fans everywhere" and elvis said himself, he thought of ETAs as the highest form of praise...he enjoyed it and if it weren't for ETAs (or at least the good ones), there would not be as many second generation Elvis fans in this day and age...there would still be a lot, but not as many as there are
this is the best ETA in the business for the last 36 years... this post doesnt speak for me.
Rick always does a fine job and is a talentd entertainer... this in no way ruins elvis i think really bad ETA are a disgrace, i remember rick doing this song back in the late 70's..
First saw Rick perform this 26 years ago...saw him last Wednesday night, and he's still got it. Like he said, " not bad for 52!" I agree completely, every time I see him, he's better. Thanks Rick!
He's good. I wish some of these guys would come tio COllingwood Ontario...for their Elvis festival. July.....

I don't understand why you're calling Rick's perfomance here a disgrace to Elvis.
I'm sorry, but I'm a big Elvis fan and I find
this very good.
He's doing a GREAT job!!!!
