AMAZING game. EIB was really good too. HH was a bit dissapointing, but it brought some great changes. Hopefully the next one takes what was good in HH and the rest of them and improves on HH. Then it will be perfect.
the way the weapons act in the first 2 games of BIA is still the most realistic one. there was also always a whole explanation about weapons, what happened on that day and how some structures to even complete towns are perfectly copied from real life. for example the town where you are in when you meet Risner with his tank. this town is made EXACTLY the same. or the cathedral of Carentan with everything around it. this is still my favorite game and road to hill 30 in special.
I went to the normandy beaches and caen once and we were in carentan, st mare eglise, dead man's corner. I immediately recognized these places thanks to road to hill 30, and you're right, the detail of recreation is amazing!

this series has THE best soundtrack of any game series. the only one that comes close to it is a japanese rpg game that i never played, but heard some songs of it.

When I first played, I never truly appeciated the Earned in Blood soundtrack. Now that my Xbox is broken, and I can't find a copy of EiB for PC (Hey, I want my kids to play this game someday) anywhere, I want somebody to put the entire soundtrack up. I love EiB's Music!

Yeah he was in 1st squad during Carentan bust since he an a couple others made it they were transferred to 2nd (Hartsock's) squad. Bust since the 101st had to make up for lost men so they could launch Market Garden they filled in 1st squad with new recruits.
then you dont get what the game is about...HH is much to much of a CoD or MoH..BiA was always something special with a special community and the story was great,,.the atmo perfekt (this song!!!)

This music is meant for all WWII veterans. Allies or Axis. Now remember most Axis soldiers didn't support the Nazis. They were drafted. I can see the Japs doing it voluntarily, because they just wanted to expand their borders. The Japs weren't a sick race of fascist soldiers like the Nazis. This song is on of my favorites.
They were sick tho. do you know what they did to POWs and civilians?. The best japs to remember are like some of the normal ones like on letters from iwo jima.
The ultimate irony, however, is that the Allied soldiers were not the only ones who could relate to this song. Their enemies can, too.

i bought one on ebay from a guy in england a couple of years ago. it seems that it was a bonus for preordering brothers in arms:earned in blood. it contains songs from both road to hill 30 and earned in blood.

no its not, the game is based on a real Sgt in WW2 who attacked an entire barracks of german soldiers and chased them down to multiple different houses. They put him up for the medal of honor but they lost his paper work. i think his name was Summers or something. But he was a real guy.

Dan Summers he was a member of the 506th not the 502nd PIR this story,inspired by Band of Brothers,but does not follow them they are not based of real people either they simply made the game to show the heroism of paratroopers in WWII they are based off true events they shouldve written that on the box instead of based on a true story
I wouldn't say it was based off of Band of Brothers it was more or less based broadly off the paratroopers of the 502nd PIR 101st airborne division and it still shows the bravery and courage of the paratroopers story

i bought one on ebay from a guy in england a couple of years ago. it seems that it was a bonus for preordering brothers in arms:earned in blood. it contains songs from both road to hill 30 and earned in blood.

yep! you are right about the rank thing but it was actually rank of lieutenant and higher were real people! baker and hartsock are based on real people! shame! p.s i love this game with all my heart! music is brill and game is so involving and emotional! why cant the 360 have this game on backward compatability???? p.p.s Hartsock Rules!

Allan and Garnet really existed,I saw a letter from Garnet's mom to Allan's where she tried to find out more information about how their boys died.Legget also existed. In the letter she said they died saving a friend Kevin Legget who unfortunately died just 4 days after it near carentan,France

all the guys are based on real characters in ww2 if they wre sargeant or rank higher any under rank sargeant were made up this is what gearbox said but i think it is wrong to not honor those of rank private and so on too

based on a true story. Watch the series "band of brothers" or read the book. that might clear some things up. the game was loosely based on the show. the show is a true story.

no its not, the game is based on a real Sgt in WW2 who attacked an entire barracks of german soldiers and chased them down to multiple different houses. They put him up for the medal of honor but they lost his paper work. i think his name was Summers or something. But he was a real guy.

I think you are talking about Lt. Dan Summers he was a member of the 506th not the 502nd PIR this story,inspired by Band of Brothers,but does not follow them they are not based of real people either they simply made the game to show the heroism of paratroopers in WWII they are based off true events they shouldve written that on the box instead of based on a true story

I wouldn't say it was based off of Band of Brothers it was more or less based broadly off the paratroopers of the 502nd PIR 101st airborne division and it still shows the bravery and courage of the paratroopers story

i luv this song it's so epic and soldiery only it makes me sad cuz i think bout my favorite charecters like allen & garnett and paige-yah know thats the thing i luv BIA and COD equelly if only you could join the gameplay of COD and the story of BIA...it'd be a super game O_O omg i got something here....best story & charecters= BIA hands down tho :D!!!!!!
