Nothing wrong with a little nod to a real bat film. The Joker uses Bruce Wayne's secret identity against him... so, in this movie he cares who Batman is. Watch it all. And watch the first part "BRUTALITY".

well, with Joker it was all an accident, just made a mistake and tripped.

And, with Two-Face, he didn't want to fight back, in fear of hurting his friend even more. And, just the shock of seeing his face ripped away.
