  • ...'love this song since 40 years !!! LES from berlin

  • Where did you find your Les Paul Studio? Looks just like the standard and sounds awesome. I'm trying to find one like that. Great guitar work. Great Cover.

  • Well done bro

  • How does someone consciously give this video a thumbs down?

Apparently 37 people don't like it when guitars cry!

  • yo what amp are you using?

  • How did you get the Drum/Bass track to play along with?

  • Your just a young piece of #*%&^% compared to me...I've been playin since the 70's but I'm here to tell ya boy Your Tappin your Tap 'tap Tapin into Jimmy 's muse! Go with that one son cause your a natural. I don't see you as the one who reads tab. I loved it.

  • you were good but you didn't feel it

  • write on dude

  • @spawnscout the only difference between the faded studio and the polish one like he has is that the faded has burstbuckers in it and this one has a 490 in the neck and 498T in the bridge both of Gibson

  • is there any difference in sound with the normal studio les paul?

  • @spawnscout Strat or Paul ?

  • you're a great guitarist dude keep it up! nice vid and nice tone!

  • Nice playing!

How much did you pay for that Studio?

Did you play the Studio faded? If so, besides looks what's the difference?

I was thinking of buying the faded for $719.99 but yours looks so nice. I might just wait till I could save the difference. Any imput would help.

You made a great choice buying that guitar.

  • studio deluxe?

  • man I just found your videos today and I got to tell you there ain't no one here on utube who plays page better than you that is all there is to it... it is like "holy shit, am I still listening to a cover!"

  • You know that you're sounds here almost exactly like Pagey? Great job! :)

  • wow man...really nice chops, and a really nice gibson...great combo.

  • i like your performance

  • what a music ?

  • @DiffcollectBand

Led Zeppelin-Since i've been loving you

  • Fantastic jam! Very good ;)

  • very nice!

  • you got the blues, kid :-)

  • thats what i called a nice guitar

  • what gear are you using except the lp studio?

  • Man you ´re rich , you have a lot of gibsons

  • k flipao pone la foto de page jaja no es la misma les paul ..la de page no es estudio ...

  • tio pone la foto de robert plant y de page porke es una cancion de led zeppelin ¬¬

  • see mi video

  • omg this is the guitar ive been shopping for but no one has a good one or they arent in stock or sold anymore

  • i have a les paul 59s standart and a 2007 studio and the studio sound for me alot better

  • you prefer a gibson les paul studio ch or a fender strat std mn???

  • does anyone know how much binding costs?

  • about 10 bucks around the body

    100 bucks around the fretboard

    20 bucks around the headstock

  • reallhy, thats pretty cheap

  • it lacks passion. otherwise is good, nice bed.

  • lol nice bed

  • im confused. doesn't the gibson les paul studio heritage cherry in guitar center have a darker color then this?

  • this one is 2007

  • Nice, I just havew one question....to anyone out there.... How would i modify a song so i can hear just the rythem? Say i wanted to get rid of the guitar and vocals and just leave the bass and drums...would i need an expensive mixer or could i download a program of the internet???

  • you feel to good to answer questions boy?

  • dude...this is awesome. just 1 question. is your lp studio stock? or did you change the pickups or anythin else on it? thanks for posting...its what youtube is all bout!

  • I would like to know what amp and effects you're using to get that sound. Very classic!

  • my jaw dropped at 1:02 DUDE THAT WAS AMAZING i was like at first, alright this is pretty good, then i was like...r u jimmy page reincarnation? NEVER give up the guitar, dont let anyone tell u to, cause i wanna listen to a good guitar player when u become famous :)

  • really nice guitar. really nice playing

  • is the finish on this guitar the same as any toher cherry sunburst on other les pauls? and how does this guitar feel?? i might get one from my cousin for getting straight A's should i get this guitar?

  • I think you should get it. I used to have a Les Paul Studio, and I loved it. It is an awesome guitar for the money.

  • That was insane!! I love that song!!! Your Les Paul has really good sound! Rock on , love the zeppelin video!

  • I'm feeling your playing. You know, playing fast and all doesn't determine a good player. You manage to pour your soul into this, and you can tell through the playing. Great job man

  • This is my favorite Zeppelin track.

  • what scale does he use?

  • Pentatonic minor in C

  • page uses alot of solos and licks in the minor key of C...most notably the pentatonic minor scale

  • the guitar sounds nice. good playing

  • Nice Guitar, sound and playing!

  • Great looking guitar and sound. Ive never seen the studio in stores in that color. What year is it?

I personally, have the Gibson Les Paul Studio in Pewter from 2001. Limited series with a thin nitrocellulose finish that is none reflective, just like old school les pauls.

    Vid sounds great, keep practicing!

  • classic color, heritage cherry rocks. sweet playing as well.

  • Amazing playing dude! I love this song

  • i have the les paul studio in black....love it too

  • Yeah I personally prefere the black one too, I'm going to get it within 2-3 months, I think the Honeyburst or other colours look a bit cheap witheout a cream binding, thats why I prefere the black one with the studios.

  • i hope you enjoy yours as much as i do, the only thing i dont care for is it does not stay in tune well...which may be becuase of the way i play from learning on acoustic but oh well

  • would you guys recommend a gibson les paul studio over an epiphone les paul?? oh and what do you think on the epiphone prophecy models?

  • if you can afford to buy the les paul studio over the epiphone...most real musicians play with good equipment and epiphones are not considered a good guitar

  • I personaly don't like epiphone that much. If you have the money, I would recommed that you go for the Les Paul Studio. You get the classic Les Paul sound minus a few bells and whistles (nice bells and whistles, mind you) but for much cheaper. If you can afford this guitar, go for it.

  • the prophecy models aren't that great

if you want a metal guitar, get a schecter, esp, jackson, or a good BC Rich

  • me too i have the same guitar as u it was 4,000 dollars

  • for 4000 dollars you should have gotten a way nicer guitar than the standard...i paid 400 for mine, granted it was used but new they only run around 1200 area

  • i meant studio not standard

  • How did you get the guitar in a heritage cherry sunbust i tried to get it in that finish but i don't know how. Anyway YOU ROCK!

  • I really love the way you played the first chorus. Silent but strong, you know.

    ...

    Still badass, though.

  • I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT

  • i would have never guessed it was a les paul studio!

  • I love my studio

  • Are you playing through your marshall half stack?

  • at 1:02 I was like holy shit am I still listening to a cover

  • hey man.. does this lp have the burstbuckers..

  • No 430R and 438T

  • 490R and 498T

  • Oh yeah 490 & 498. There is no such thing as 430 that was just a typo

  • get a rolland micro cube for a begginer.

it is very loud and has a wonderrful tone

  • hey so im looking into getting a guitar and i really want a les paul. is the studio a good model or are there any that would be much better? also if anyone could point me in the direction of a good amp thats not too expensive that would be great! any advice is greatly appreciated!!

  • the standard... and marshall mg 30 dfx

  • If you want a les paul and that unmistakable sound= its a good place to start.

  • Hey, I just bought a used 4 year old Les studio for around 800. Reseach says that studio has everything a standard has electronicly. The difference is the standard has lots of dressy trim and stuff that make the les Paul what it is. I am very happy with my purchase.Studio. Black with gold hardware baby!!! However, I dont see many musicians play their studios in public. For show you might consider the Standard.

  • Black with Gold hardware Is my favorite to I like the way it looks in person

  • i like the peavey classivc 50 its like 900$ new and LOUD anazing tone check it out

  • what kind of amp are you playing through

  • wath's your amp?

  • nice job dude. is that a drawing of claudio from coheed and cambria on your wall?

  • Haha you look gaaaay but tha guitar doesnt lol!

  • try to the live tabs for this song

  • i have that exact guitar gotit 4 christmas

  • Wow man great!!!

  • i have one to in that finish. but why does it seem that no one else wants to post more videos of it?

  • vintage sound..

man, i have the gibson same with you..

    :)

    nice btw..

  • dude that fucking trucked how long have you played for?

  • Woah...

  • I didn't know that there's also a Gibson Les Paul Studio in Heritage cherry?!!!

I always thought the only burst finish was the Fireburst? Anyway it look and sound great

  • What amp are you using ?

  • wow.i see how u say this is just to show of the guitar, bur wow.that was amazing. great job. one thing tho, can you do more covers with the les paul?

  • great job!

  • I do a jam over the faster section, it does not sound like Page though!

  • incredible performance

    beautiful sound

  • Great performace, dude!

This is one of my favorite Zepp songs... you played naturally and looks like quite simple. You have a great talent.

  • this rocks. i have my studio lp black, since 96. its naturally worn and wouldn't trade for standard. amazing how you're getting all those tones. what scales are you using? i think it was c aeolian. c pentatonic or c blues also?

  • Great Tone!

  • nice! have a studio premium plus-natural finish..i love it!

  • im thinkin about gettin this guitar..

is it true that it gets off tune a lot?

if it is, what can i do about it?

  • I own one, they don't pitch that much, but throwing grovers on, which is what i did, fixed the problem

  • mi fai ridere

  • ...WOW...nice.

  • I'm in love in my 76 custom, never was caught by the studios. What can I say? I like to be flashy sometimes...lol

Nice sound though bro. Alot of people don't realize that Zep was all about some live improv, never the same show twice. Great job!

  • Thats the stock 498t pickup?

  • what amp are you using man ?

  • that guitar is sick!!

  • nice...i think i'm buying on of those

  • Great job...nice les paul...keep on mejt!

  • Great Job. Enjoyed seeing Page back in the Day at a Day on the Green. Your playin brings back some memories

  • I just bought a Gibson Les Paul studio in heritage cherry which is the color of this one.

  • great job!

  • Awesome dude!

  • new color for studio no binding plus pickups on Gibsons look pretty much the same

  • wats beter epiphone sg G-400 or epiphone les paul studio?? and does the studio stay in tune??

  • G-400 sounds more like an SG. The Epi LP is made out of the wrong wood compared to a Gibson and sounds like a Fender when it's unplugged.

I've had lots of cheaper "Gibson" types, and the best, by a country mile, is the Japanese (NOT Korean! - JAPANESE) Tokai Love Rock LS-75.

It's better made and better sounding than most of the real Gibsons I've played. Especially ones from the 80's.

Save up the extra and have one of those. Don't waste your money on the Epiphone. I did.

    Hope this helps.

  • really???

  • what acually makes the "woman" tone i used to know what it involved but i can't remember

  • i think it when you turn the tone knob down

  • Good Job! Bravo

  • I haven't seen a LP studio with that colour finish before. I didn't know they made one in that colour.

  • i think its a standard,because of the pickup covers,not sure

  • its a studio i have the same pickups

  • ita at guitar center that what my color is

  • yeah man, you're good. i have a fender strat, i love it, but that studio can really moan. ouch. nice job man.

  • Good Job Jimmy

  • wonderfull sound... you just persuaded me to buy Gibson LP Studio... i don't love my fender anymore :)

  • Sounds great man, I play this style alot myself, only thing that could be improved is probably the overall looseness of your playing and your phrasing a little maybe but thats just a time thing. Keep on rocking man

  • Loosen your Fret fingers. You look a little tight. It's not uncommon when playing slow Blues. Just relax and get into it. Nice job though.

  • Did you do the paint job on it yourself?

  • wtf r u serious

  • dont be dissin sly200m that dude needs to get some brains about guitars

  • i love this song and I love your sound what kind of amp did you use

  • thats prob a marshall

  • did u get that color online?

  • nice job man amazing tone

  • i have a classic white

  • i love these guitars!!! omg there the best. i have a lp dc with p90s and it sounds like heaven

  • Thanks , for a video demo that represents the sound of the guitar , very useful. Thanks for posting.

  • hey ppl. could any1 tell me the difference between the les paul studio and the custom. I might get the studio but im woundering if it would be worth spending more money and getting the custom instead. could anyone help please. thanks

  • The only difference is looks. Custom has binding, very good paint, flamed top, more decorations etc. Sound wise: they have the same pickups so same sound. Also custom will keep its value over time if well cared. Really depends if you have the extra money to spend

  • oh ok. i havnt realy got the money for a custom. Got enough for a standard though but im guna go to the shop n play some first. thanks for the help

  • all gibsons keep value for a long time

  • I back that.

  • Well. The custom has a solid one piece mahogany neck. Destroys the studio neck. It also has a carved top. Way better quality. But pretty similar.

  • the tone coming from the bridge pickup in those few parts of the song sounded nearly identical to Page's tone from the Song Remains The Same DVD. awesome job man.

  • nice guitar playing - needs some reverb PRONTO

takes it to the next level

  • does it stay in tune pretty well.

  • first of all good playin man... second, geefron why u need to knock this cat for usin tabs. u should be able to dig someone's playin w/o smashin how they learned it.

  • do guns n roses

  • I haven't yet tested a Studio (no actual dealers here.. but friend has a standard.. another has an epi...

And I find the Epi's only good for the Les Paul or SG look.. I myself have a Pacifica and am planning to buy a Studio over the summer once I'm back in canada. The playability of the Epiphone though was sort of crap.. felt worse than my Yamaha, also sounded bad too. But after jamming on a Les Paul Standard, I'm thinking I will buy a Studio since it is almost exactly the same.

  • ummm i think the standard is a grand more for a reason =D but the studio is still good

  • Studio is excellent, i don't think there's THAT much of a difference...

  • the only difference is the binding on the guitar, studios dont have it standards do. the binding is just cosmetic. however some studios are chambered making their tone have more of a midrange and they are lighter so they have some difference but hey i have one and its beautiful. plays like butta

  • I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to take the Studio out to gigs as my main axe, although I still prefer my Axis Super SPort. There is no discernable difference between the Standard and the Studio, soundwise. The claim is they call the studio the studio because, it doesn't have the expensive finish and binding so not as suitable for stage work GIbson is like you have to pick the right one for you, even if you are comparing two standards, two studios. Gotta have that MOJo going for it.

  • They all have chambering now....so I'd almost agree. The standard still has higher quality control and better pickups. But a VERY good studio is about as good as a standard.

  • it really isnt, the pickups on a standard are much hotter and you dont get the same sustain from a studio because of the wood

  • They are both Mahogany, but felip is right, it's only cosmetics and the pickups, that's why I want to get a Studio, and later get burstbucker pros and stick them in there, then all that is different is the plastic binding

  • The pickups on the current standard are notably "less hot". Sustain comes from how much signal is left after a given length of time. I'm no expert but I think ypu will find the stronger (higher amplitude) the initial signal is to start with and how dirty (overdriven and clipped) a signal is will determine the "sustain".

Phase shifting signals can add/subtract signal. Mismatching reactances also create a different freq resp. 490R and 498T are completely different animals than Burstbucker-Pros

  • Pickup trucks and bicycles are both useful but hardly interchangeable....

[IMHO] If you want hot look at 496R/500T if you wan cooooool look Burstbucker-pros. Gibson gets it right in between with the 490R/498T in the Les Paul Studio Premium Plus. Yes there is no binding and a solid color but one must compromise wouldn't you say.

look at your pickups under an Oscope and you'll see what I mean.

  • you're good man, i just think you need to feel the blues a little more.

  • Is that one of the newer channelled Studios that is lighter? They sure dropped in price in these parts.

  • what kind of guitar is he using?

  • hey guys i am only 14 and cant afford a les paul standard or custom. i have to choose between a classic or studio. I actually like classic better than the standard. but the studio is way more cheaper and can probably afford a new tube amp. i have a marshall half stack, but its not tube. what should i get, studio or classsic? i think i might get a classic. just need ur guys opnion to help thanx.
