  • Superb. Thanks very much!

  • Great Job, Thanks for this one and Oasis' Listen Up.

  • thank you so much !

  • great lesson mate, ignore the pillock saying you don't do a tutorial with a capo- where'd he get that from eh? anyway cheers

  • cheers for this mate

    your a legend

  • @I30oMeR Well how would you like me to do it given Noel Gallagher plays it with a capo.

  • @I30oMeR If you believe you know how to play this song better than noel, you do a fucking guitar tutorial then

  • @I30oMeR shut it you moaning forskin

  • most people do tutorials with a capo

  • @I30oMeR

WTF! Look at the vdeos of Oasis playing live and look carefully at Noels guitar, see the capo at the 2nd fret? So what now? Are you saying you would do the tutorial in the wrong key so it sounds wrong and not like the song you are trying to demonstrate and then suggest at the very end using a capo to make it sound right???!!! I'm not sure I understand the logic

  • @I30oMeR What an absolute cretin you are. Piss off.

  • hey Georgiarose16 can U do keep the dream alive by Oasis for me thanx :)

  • well done mate... you have helped me to play a few songs.... keep it coming

  • To all budding guitar players, Pete is A1. Dont miss a chord and cheat and think that,ll do - - No. Keep the faith, and learn as Pete shows u, then u,ll get the credit u deserve for having a great song under your belt, from a great teacher. btw, i found this song the hardest out the lot of Oasis collection Pete has so kindly learned and shared. I think we should all chip in, and buy Pete the guitar of his choice as our way of saying a Massive Thanks. Keep it up pete, Regards from the UK

  • Instead of hammering on the 3rd string when I play the intro/verse a chord, I play it open

But this is good too ;)

  • wow, this is super cool!!!!!!! thanks.

  • Great stuff sir, makes you realise how simple Oasis acoustic material is!

  • Outstanding lesson. I thought this was going to be a tough song to learn, but you made it very easy. This is a really cool acoustic song. Many Thanks....

  • Ive read oasis song books beatles song books thrown them all you make it so easy thanks very much for the tutorials

  • My pleasure.

  • @slouchpcs72 damnit man you could of sent em to me

  • Cant believe nigefal tryin 2 b a smartarse with wot the 'actual' chords r. Who cares? it sounds great anyway. Iv not long started 2 learn playin the guitar and thru watchin these tutorials, i can now play over 30 of my all time fav songs by oasis, the smiths, the beatles (tho my pinky is killin me from 'Norwegian Wood' ha!) etc. This man is a legend!!!

Keep up the great lessons Peter, dont suppose u cud do 1 for 'Yesterday' by the beatles m8?

  • biglivedog69 you have misinterpreted what i posted. I was not trying to be a smartass i just coped and pasted chords from a site i found before this. It was not me who wrote the "actual chord" bit. However I can understand how it seemed!

  • Very good as usual, But unfortunately I found this tutorial AFTER i found these chords when i searched on net for this song acoutically

    "Bsus4 (x24400) - actual chord is B5 (x244xx)

    E (022100)

    C#m7 (x46454)

    Asus2 (x02200)

    G#m (466444) - again actual chord is G#5 (466xxx)

    F# (244322) - once again its actually F#5 (244xxx)

    A (x02220)

    A7 (x02020)"

Are these chords wrong I am definitely maybe confused and dont feel much like a rock n roll star!

  • No, the chords aren't wrong. There are always many different ways to play the same song. Those chords look more suited to an electric guitar version to me though. There are many acoustic version of Oasis songs floating around and I will generally try and copy a version I like. If there isn't one, I'll just work out a version which I'm happy with (right or wrong). Hopefully people take what they like from my tutorials and develop their own versions. There are no rules as far as I'm concerned

  • Cool keep up the good work anyway. Hopefully I will be able to make an effort at trying to learn your acoustic version thanks.

  • @nigefal where did you get those tabs? i want to play the electric version

  • @pedritomelo cant remember to be honest i think i just did a general internet search

  • You are very good teacher, really good man!

  • Thanks man helped alot.

  • when will you be doing a cober of this song it would be really good to here it properly from you

  • I've covered this one.

  • Good Lesson my friend, the Dsus4 you mention is actually a Dsus2 in case anybody is learning the correct names. for a Dsus4 you 3rd fret the high e string. Great lesson though, Thanks.

  • Thanks man. I was getting confused with Asus4. I think Dsus2 and Asus4 are the same chord?

  • No I don't think so, the Asus4 is played with an open high e string then the b string 3rd fret, then the g and d strings fretted on the 2nd fret. (This chord is played in Cast No shadow). Thanks for the lessons again. Any chance of a tutorial for Smiths, There is a light that nver goes out? Thanks.

  • amazing :D

  • wow, now sounds better, thanks for correcting the tutorial!

  • No worries man. Gonna have to re-cover it again as well correctly.

  • nice lesson

can you do one for The Hindu Times

  • Already have.

  • Well done.

    5 stars.
