Great video, I thought Ireland had the wetest land in spring.Typical know it alls, depending on ground conditions in front or behind , only the people on the ground know what is best. You must get good yields after the wet spring. Farming is the best, you never know what the day will hold in store for you, ;)
thats bad ass mud. I drive 4830. not very impressed with them in the mud. Getting horsepower to the ground sucks in any deere. Old 854 rogator will kick its ass
I drive a CASE 4420 best sprayer made... Anyhow always pull from the front always!!! Pulling from the rear sinks the hydro and rips off fenders. a good Excavator can use his bucket as a wedge and lift and pull at the same time. Just my .02cents
That's rough! We had to spray half loads for much of corn this year because it just wouldn't quit raining! We have an excavator, and so far I've been lucky not to need it to get my sprayer out!
I bought a helicopter for next year.Of course I had to spend the rest of the summer learning how to fly the dam thing. They are a lot harder to fly than a airplane.
Actually we spent about an hour trying to pull it out forward. But like most soils in Iowa the further down the hill the wetter it gets. When I first stopped only the right rear tire was down.We backed the nurse truck up to whithin 50 feet of the left side to pump the load off before we tried pulling forward. We pulled it about 20 feet forward and the left rear went down and we almost got the tractor stuck.Thats when my niece showed up with the video camera. We pulled it backward and then forward
i know this wont work but they need wider tires

Hydraulic 4 wheel drive is a joke. Granted it looked plenty wet to be spraying anyway.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier and more cost effective to have an airplane spray this field?
