Awesome...but what about "Baby Come Back?!?" That's probably the QUINTESSENTIAL 70's soft rock song! I absolutely love these, though, helps me remember a bunch of songs that I love, but that I'd forgotten about.
Most of these artists aren't good looking enough to be famous (get their music heard) today, which is a part of the lack of talent today, except the singer in America, he's just hot in ANY generation, lol, I wish I was there for the 60's and 70's, it's my fave music, thanks for posting this!!!!
@pnull The song is from 1971...that's what J.T. looked like back then. Greatest car movie ever made is "Two Lane Blacktop" with James Taylor and Dennis Wilson from the Beach Boys and the infamous Warren Oates.
Memories of tears and smiles. It is only when you look back that you realize why everyone told you not to be in such a rush to grow up. Those were the best of times. Thank you.
Its hard to believe that I would listen to this kind of music every morning 5 days a week before goimg to school back in the 70s....I miss my childhood.
@lukejake7771 Believe it or not the Carpenters only had 4 number one hits during the 70's... Close to You -1970, Yesterday Once More -1973, Top of the World -1973 and Please Mister Postman -1975. They had many many songs in the top 5 that never made it to number one... which was amazing since all their stuff was so good.

Love the playlist, but you left out the number 1 selling group of the 70's, and that is ABBA!
Wish one or two of their songs were in there, Dancing Queen was the number one seller of the 70's, after American Pie.
I'll check out the website, see what I can root out!
