  • A little rushed but very good overall! I think we can all agree on the beauty of a powerful alto section especially in this piece! Benjamin Britten originally wrote this for a treble chorus on a ship on his way back to England from the United States. He also wrote the Hymn's to St. Cecilia around the same time and they are stylistically the same in essence. Beautiful work that is simplistically a series of thirds with a C pedal. Simplicity is the most complex tool we have as musicians! Great Job

  • i just got done performing this song for my district competition.

  • im doing the same thing. but the entire arrangement. guys. our instructor has us doing it with like.. old english. pronouncing things differently. sounds better.. but this is still good for learning it three days before.

  • Some tuning issues. Pretty good though.

  • dediquense a otra cosa por fa

  • You all sounded great! I like the strong alto section :)

  • this is pretty good! im doing the same thing for our concert... and almost the exact same arrangement, just a bit slower! :)

im like the only mezzo-soprano who knows the part... lol.

  • The alto part was a little bit too loud, but other than that it was a very pretty song. We are doing this song for our Christmas concert.
