I imagine it would be as easy to kick in as any door. Most doors would give in with the swift kick from an adult male. I did have a strip mounted on the door that doesn't move to make a better seal and prevent the old credit card trick but it fell off. The strip covered the gap between the doors, I imagine i will eventually put one back on.
For security reasons its best to use doors that swing the other way plus add a latch guard so no one can use a coat hanger to open the latch. Latch Guards only work with a out swing door. Other then that your video is awesome. I might have to wire up something like that for 10 dollars. You cant beat a fob system that is programmable for that much. Keep up the good work :)
I dont think that the deadbolt actually secures the other door. It looks like it pushes the latch on the handle in so that you can push it open.

but why the need for a lock on that door? An asthmatic ant leaning on the door could go right through it.

The door metal pole does not go into the slot much. I think I could kick it in.
