  • Holy shit he might as well not have any audience.

  • the video is great and I love him. what a voice! it´s funny to see the dresses the back vocal is wearing..hauhauaha.. so 70s

  • Whether they are dancing or not has no relevance at al. It was something just for him to perform his own song in front of a white audience. Blaming everything on race still in the 21st century is getting a lil old. That was a different time then. Being in your own skin now is totally different from then. They endured what they did just so we could hold our heads up, bob, shake, or do wtf we want to do now. Preach the positive instead of dwelling in the negative.

  • @dstalliun Well put Brother / Sister

  • @cchmlfa

I am a brother from Houston, TX

  • Respond to this video...

  • People can be moved by great music yet not dance and/or stand up and ruin the views of the people behind them. Certainly, at least one person there would have liked to dance... That NOBODY there is dancing tells us that they were instructed not to, or it's just a very polite audience. Stop the judging.

  • love love this song.. always have, and I'm a white girl that can move/groove!!! I have negro ears. LOL

  • No, just take a look at the same tv show in 1976 with Jaymz Brown dudes!

  • On behalf of all the white and nerdy of which I am one[ but I have soul] the reason the audience is not moving is they were TOTALLY MESMERIZED by this TOTAL SOUL GOD standing before them , they were immersed in FUNK -O -MANIA ! • Nice crowd.

  • SDC.......my love is forever.

  • I Love You LOU!

  • That crowd is dead as hell....Soul-less people....Get emm Lou, beautiful song....Peace to ya.

  • What do you expect, a black man singing on stage to an audience full of white people, in that time period? But I see what you mean; they are as stiff as coffins!

I don't see how anyone could be that unmoved even while listening to such a dreamy, sexy, song like that.

  • Don't take it personally, I don't think they were stiff because he's black or because of the era. I was at a Lynda Carter concert last weekend and audience was mostly white, and just as stiff as the guys in this video; Lynda was smokin'; sounding and acting like a Motown Mama, but the audience was dead as a doorknob until after she invited them them to get out of their seats and cut loose. I think they're like that because of DNA they just can't help themselves!@kitsbits22

  • @kitsbits22

...that time period you're talkin' about was racially mixed doofuss. Who do you think bought all those records; blacks and whites and yellows and reds and browns. I DJd back then and it was great. Everybody danced and sang with each other.

  • @kitsbits22 rotf lmbo....sure were stiff and one woman trying to smile back without her man noticing ...back then it was cold to play to a white audience. But that's American..in Europe they don't care if you're good you are well received.

  • @kitsbits22

It was obviously a selected studio audience. They were probably told to sit still so as not to be distracting. Lol.

U are wrong about the white/black thing. We whites luvved Black Soul & embraced all the artists that came over to perform.

  • @kitsbits22 They probably weren't serving drinks or all coked up! That always helps get a crowd going!
