I have this song in Frankie Valli Greatest Hits album..It puts chills up & down my spine & gives me goose bumps..Never knew he could belt it out this good! Had the opportunity to meet him & hang out with him behind the Brooklyn Fox Theater..Even had a chance to kiss him goodbye..When I go I'd like to have this song sang..It's very idealistic & "Christian" I Love Italians..language, music..people..Gratzie tante..Ciao, Adios..bye bye..Peace via Music VIVA MARIA!

This one of Frankie's best songs. Sometimes the best songs aren't

always the big hits. "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You", is awesome, but

so is "To Give".

Frankie's best! This song a message directly opposite of Frank Sinatra's "My Way." Whereas in "My Way" the singer takes a very selfish attitude towards others and thinks only of himself, in "To Give" Frankie shows his deep appreciation of having been born and of everything that has happened in his life and wants to share his good fortune with others. I'd give anything to hear Frankie sing this at one of his live concerts..... It is, however, a very difficult song to actually sing.

@MotormanMeJoe I totally agree. I first heard this song after coming back from my first tour in Vietnam. While others at home were partying I could never get comfortable with it while Nam was still raging. And although I was always a great Frankie and 4 Seasons fan, this song affected me deeply. And so I went back twice more to Nam to give in my small way.Although I survived while others didn't as in the wars of today they who gave the ultimate give meaning to this beautiful song by Frankie.
