  • you plug the mic into a mic preamp channel.... not the LINE in.... you'd think someone with a huge-ass mixer would know that.

  • this mic came with a XLR to Jack and on my mixer i can still plug dynamic mics into line... its undesirable but still works.. if the mic came with an xlr to xlr if have used that

  • Can i conect that on PC right?

  • @Gigers27 this mic requires a preamp

  • @Boomdoggles is it needed if only using with a computer?

  • hey, do you know how to plug it into the computer? i cant find where to put that cable in the computer to record

  • @penguinflow im using a USB interface

  • What desk are you using and how much is it??

  • @MVCproductions2011 Behringer Eurodesk MX3282A not made anymore but the Behringer Eurodesk SX3282 is the equivilent

  • @Boomdoggles okay thanks mate how much is the Behringer Eurodesk SX3282 in £££ thanks mate :)

  • @MVCproductions2011 i dont know im australian. you would have to contact a behringer retailer in your country

  • @Boomdoggles okay thanks bud

  • whats the hertz range 15 to 60?

  • @iseecheese the freq. response is 70 to 15,000 Hz

  • "the levels are going up and down pretty nice. when i turn it off, nothing goes through"

    magnificent review.

you've got a huge mixer, yet didnt wanna shell out an extra 40 quid for a 57 or 58?

  • @auxili160 the mixer i got for the same price as the mic.

  • @Boomdoggles ?????? WHAT!!!!!!!!!???????

  • uhhgg, switched mics. I will never use them.

  • @adamacin34 once again, this is the entry level Shure mic thats made for Spoken Word

  • I have this mic... its crap. getting the ROD NT1A

  • @jovanify what are you using it for, its a LIVE mic designed for spoken word items such as speeches ect. if you wanted a performance one the 58 in either PG or SM would be better

  • @Boomdoggles

oh true, i ment recording studio wise , for vocals .

  • what mixer is that?

  • @gastonbarker Behringer Eurodesk MX3282A

  • someone just jizzed lol i realy want one 2 lol

  • did your little adapter thing, was that in your clip or did u find it in your case?

  • @Studmon182 in the case i think

  • thanks for the video man

im currently a 12 year old music producer or dj (mixer)

im also writing raps now and im looking for a good microphone to record with

i was wondering if this is a good mic,

im planning to simply plug it into my usb (without the mixer) and simply use it like that

i have a new 1500 dollar gaming computer and i was wondering if thats enough

will the vocals be good thanks

  • @DJDisgust so wait what interface?? if you want a better sound try either a PG58 or a SM58 but this is quite good for singing.

  • @DJDisgust sorry for the meddling (i don't know if i'm saying it right, this is not my native language, but i'm trying to explain myself)...the second voice on my group uses this pg48, i use the samson q7 tha is also a great cheap mic, in my country both cost the same around 50dlls...when we sing i hear the shure mic with a lire more volume or gain...but the samson has more middle and bass, both are almost the same but a like the samson Q7 a little more...greetings

  • dude this mic is good for chorus? cause i have the sm57 but i need another mic for my second voice of my band..do u recomend it? thanks

  • @pilloman ok the sm 57 is an instrument mic, if your strapped for cash go for it of you can get at least a SM58 that would be better but if the backup vocals not allways there get this or a PG58

  • @Boomdoggles The SM 57 is also a GREAT vocal mic. Many artists use them. I have a pair of them and LOVE them. In fact, I'd suggest these over the SM58 just because they are not only great for vocals but they are in fact better than anything else for amps and instruments.

  • i have the same mic

am using it to recording with mixer

but the quailty is int that good

can you help me on it ?

    any advice ?

  • @homoudee are you using a USB interface? and how are you mixing it ill make you a video

  • @Boomdoggles am mixing it by recording with cool edite

    plzzz make video

i will by waiting for it

    thanks alot

  • does it works if I want to record with that mic? Record on the computer? sry for my bad english :)

  • @emma92lovisa if you have the right interface yeah it will

  • my is arriving next wednesday!!!!!!!!!!

  • is it good for screams? or is the pg58 better?

don't have the cash for much more than the pg58...i would obviously get the sm58 but i don't have that kind of money right now.

so for screams should i get the 48 or the 58?

  • @Loafyroolzdood for screaming its better to have an instrument mic

    like a PG57

  • ok thanks

  • Is this a good microphone??

  • @Ortega545

yeah i love it buut if you have the money

    you should get a SM58 ir a BETA58a.

i got this as a lectern mic and it will do

    that perfectly

  • Is it good for vocals?please answer

  • you would be better off getting a PG58 but its is better than a cheap mic

  • how good is this mic because i was thinking of buing a pack that came with 3 shure pg48

  • it realy depends on what you use it for, i use mine for speech and at a high gain lectern mic if you have a small budget and need some mics quick id get em but if you can spare it go for the SM58 or the BETA 58A

  • alright thanx man

  • Which mixer are you using

  • That Is My Behringer MX3282A, its discontinued but there's a similar SX series Mixer
