Being a darker soprano voice myself, I liked her tranisitions into the upper voice and her dark rendition of the lower voice better than the original person who actually sung the role. the gentlemen who is singing the male role is fantastic and I love how he fings the role wish I could see it in person. Great job. Love to see it hear in Wisconsin. Keep posting

I meant darker. I know it is the quality of the sound, it is a darker sound. I was thinking of the russian mezzo, lush, have you ever heard alexander nevesky (spelled it wrong ) that type of sound. It is very dark. I love it, and to have that type of range is especially nice when you sing broadway. You need that range High top and nice sounding lows to be heard out in an auditorium. My school has such a auditorium.

@angstypunk there's a difference between range and fibre... you could have the range of a mezzo-soprano but your fibre (the feel of your voice) is more of an alto?

My range is the F below middle c, to high c #(c#6), and some times D6-E6

I know there are some mezzos who can hit really high notes, but because of the timbre of their voice, they are classified as mezzos, not sopranos.

Out of all of the Asian version, I like Kris Philips and Zhu Hua's Chinese version the most.

But geez, this Christine's voice is so pure and clean and most of all, beautiful, too bad I cannot understand anything.

The guy who plays Erik does perfect acting in this version, look at the end when Christine sings for him, the way he looks at her is so realistic as if he really was the phantom of the opera feeling so excited when Christine finally sings his work.
