We were just prepared for everything lsu could throw at us, If u were at the game you would have seen how good the downfield coverage was, combine that with the way our d-line controlled their o-line it was a mismatch. Can't blame the lack of offensive production on Jordan Jefferson, our tide was better and more prepared!!
les miles is a great coach and that might even be an understatement. he made a mistake but without him the lsu team wouldn't even be in the title game. forgive, forget and move on. So that tells me it would have been a completely different game if Lee had gotten into this game. JJ's inaffectiveness and Miles refusal to put Lee into the game, had a huge affect on the rest of the team. Its not difficult to defend against the same play over an over again. Us fans will never know if Lee could have changed the game had he been given a chance

LSU had their Championship Defense show up on the feild ready to play, but you cannot expect them to play the majority of the game on a well coached, executed and disiplined team as Alabama. It was apparent that our offense was not prepared. No game plan. No drive, No passion. Alabama came to prove that they are deserving of the #1 ranking, and did it convincingly. I feel for the LSU defense and defensive coaches who are deserving of a Championship!

I think that game and the earlier 'game of the century' was so shitty and the rating were so low (they were the lowest ever for a NC game) they a playoff is coming for sure. There is not another conference that even comes close to being as talented and it is proven every draft night when 80% or more of the first rounders are from the SEC. Many good points were brought up by Hebert. LSU had their Championship Defense show up on the feild ready to play, but you cannot expect them to play the majority of the game on a well coached, executed and disiplined team as Alabama. It was apparent that our offense was not prepared. No game plan. No drive, No passion. Alabama came to prove that they are deserving of the #1 ranking, and did it convincingly. I feel for the LSU defense and defensive coaches who are deserving of a Championship!

Nick Saban out coaches every team he plays against, Everyone talks about how good Les Miles is and how he's the "Mad Hatter" & all this other crap. But Monday night it was Alabama making the big plays. Alabama doing the right coaching. Alabama making the right calls. Alabama staying poised and not getting penalties. & it resulted in Alabama dominating. Les Miles was an idiot for not putting Jarrett Lee in.

Les Miles is one of the best five coaches in the country, LSU fans should stop complaining and be happy he hasn't jetted for the NFL yet. Jarret Lee SUCKS that's why Les Miles didn't put him in the game and he don't call the offensive plays that's what the offesive coordinator is for. LSU averaged 34 points a game this year and only scored 9 points combined in eight quarters and a overtime agaist Bama. Stop whining and give Bama's D the credit! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!!

@ellen91661 Les Miles makes great adjustments especially at halftime, that's clearly why LSU has so many second half comebacks. Bama's D was literally an imovable object and had an answer for everything LSU threw at it. Bama was just better Monday night and that pretty much bottom lines it.

Funny how soon people forget ... Miles has done good by LSU. The loss was tough but they'll recover. The coach was correct in supporting Jefferson (after the setup/fight) and he was right in starting him Monday. I guess you fairweather fans also forgot about Lee's last Bama game start, and his tendencies. As for Hebert he's still a crybaby; mad because his son isn't a starter. I'm not a fair weather fan, but I have to wonder why, why, WHY you would choose to leave JJ in when he couldn't find the red zone with a GPS, flashlight, and armed escort. But the way the Bama defense kept JJ on the ground all night, i think they would have killed Lee since he is not a mobile QB at all. I will say this though, LSU will be a sack of hell next year. This game will motivate them for next year IMO.
