This is the song of the legendary Iraqi singer Nadem Algazali. No one will ever can copy. He was original , others are not, they are just a bad copy of him
The song is Iraqi, she is lebanese. Iraq is proud and honors all its people equally: Muslims, Jews, Christians, Mandeans, Zorasterians, Baha'is, etc...Arabs, Kurds, Turkemans, Chaldo-Assyrians, Persians, etc...
Does it really matter who wrote this song? Does it really matter if it was a jew or christian or muslim? The song is nice. Thank you for the info. anyway.
I have point this out because on Sadam time the credit f the song was not given to the author being a Jew, this song was treated as a folk song with no author.
I´m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I´ve heard this song about ten years ago and I could never forget it. This dance version of Dania is relly great. I loved it!
Cool. But its still Iraqi. The Language dialect, and was written in Iraq. And at 1908-1910, there was no kuwait or iraq. it was still under the ottoman empire :).
