Soooo glad I dropped out of Augie after one year (I am duaghter and grand-daughter of Augie Alumni). What a stupid-looking logo. As a Scandanavian-American, I could almost call it racist. What are the five core values expressed by this logo?
Amyklebust, I honestly hope you're joking. "Racist"? I'm Scandanavian-American too, and I take absolutely no offense to it. It's a mascot, ffs. It isn't supposed to be an accurate portrayal (although if you'd look at Vikings in history it isn't so outlandish they be portrayed as "mean").
How lame to comment on this video just to bash the logo. You don't even attend the school anymore so get over it.
Augie's five core values are: Christian, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community, and Service.
Maybe there is a reason amyklebust dropped out after one year; narrow minded, ignorant, what have you.
It's a mascot! A logo! A mark for the college. Lets see your idea of a logo! Can't wait to see it.
