I lost many of my dogs in Midwinter, Finca Bouree is also a home for German Shepherds, Labradors and two good Rottweilers, it is fantastic to be lisenting to Tull's music, while the snow is falling and sipping a good glass a whiskey or shoping wood for the fire place, Ian Anderson really inspired as a thrue modern Artist
For me, the best three lyricists are Don Walker, Ian Gillan and Ian Anderson. Ian Anderson is the only one on the podium, however, with daylight filling 2nd and 3rd places.
Thanks for uploading. Excuse me now while I play it again...
Indeed, this song should have been huge, and would obviously deserve many more listeners. It had all that it should take to be a powerful radio hit. And yet... It is a sad but inevitable fact that many bands of a lesser kind (to be nice) including some well known "heavy metallic" or pop bands sold many more records than Jethro Tull. And on too many "Classic Rock" radio, they are still limited to "Locomotive Breath" and "Aqualung". Those clowns usually haven't heard of much else from Tull.
mann some of jethro tull songs have less than 1000 views what are people thinking these days everyone needs to know and recognize jethro tull theyre great musicians doesnt even matter if you like it or not its an inspiration
@liztheladybug It's not even debateable. The writing is even better 'Overall' (entire career)(entire spectrum of writing and performing) than ELP, Yes, Genesis or even King Crimson. Born Musical Genius- Ian Anderson.

Unfortunately Tull´s music died after Ian had lost his voice in the early 80´s . . . the more we realise how great the old tunes were!

Heard this live in 97, but they only played the chorus a few times, instrumental, but still it was a nice feature added to the encore.

Great song. I like this better than some of the other more popular ones from Crest.
"Let the breath from the mountain still the pain,
clear water from the fountain run sweeter than the rain." I love singing Tull songs while hiking!
