  • Tried my hand at this and it was absolutely delicious thank you!

  • VERY nice!!!!! thank you!

  • Thank you MrEtagllothserf :) glad you liked the recipe. you can always mute the

    back-round song ;)

  • I've been cooking recently because I find that eating healthy food, which I've prepared in a meal myself, makes the dish so much more satisfying. This soup is my ideal lunch- looks great and (I assume 0.O) tastes pretty good.

My only problem is the back-round song,!

  • Soup looks amazing!!!

  • That's great to hear! Regarding freezing s.potatoes - it's not recommended because it can loose its texture :)

  • This will be my recipe for 2010 Thanksgiving. This looks like a WINNER.I have TONS of S.Potatos from my garden that I need to use up soon. I may use butternut squash in place of pumpkin, add red bell pepper and some fresh ginger.Either way, this looks awesome. I have a question. Can I peel the rest of my potato's,cook, puree, vacuum bag and freeze them ? That's how may I have from my garden.

  • Really looks good!!!

  • It's a heavy soup so - it's probably better for Dinner or a cold winter afternoon:)

  • would this be a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal?

  • looks lovely... am going to make it now! :)

  • Thank you all so much , for the lovely comments :)

  • looks delicious :)

  • thannks

  • what kind of olive oil ? i been using veggie oil in everything ...the olive oil i guy at the stores i think is for salad dressings and not for frying.

    help

  • This is the latest myth about olive oil. Actually heating the olive oil will not harm its healthy qualities, only the taste. That is why you can use a cheaper olive oil to begin your frying and add more flavorful oil like extra verging olive oil after you finish your frying (or served as garnish at the table.)

  • Nice soup... I do not currently own an immersion blender though... I know I should get one soon.

  • wonderful for the winter...
