He no longer produces saliva on that side of his face, but he is better he didnt die like they thought he was because he bled so bad! He will get plastic surgery soon to minimize that nasty scar he has! But we have moved on from that scary event thanks to all the nice people and you'r kind remarks to the others Karma !!!!

He is better now thanks he has a very nasty scar and we have to relive it all in court in early 2011 so that we do not look forward too but are just very happy it's healing and he's better
Yeah cause the intention was to one day cover a mirror with puss like WTF ? No specific reason for squirting it n the mirror he just was in pain and needed to drain his face and so that's how it ended up. The fireman comment we don't find funny this was serious he was almost killed and this was something the doctors over looked and cause serious issues for him!

Hi yep he's been in to see a doctor and surgeon actually yesterday...He needs surgery to repair the gland but it wont be for like another 3 weeks or so due to cutbacks and such in our area. So he drains it himself like 3 times a day...It's been a scarry ride for us with this injury. Thanks so much for you thoughts on this we appreciate it.....Jen
HOLY MOLY!!! As an RN I'm telling you to get into your Dr. ASAP........ I've worked in the ER and office for years and thought I had seen it all when it comes to infections, abcess', boils and bumps but, you just proved me wrong! I'm positive you're correct about the salivary gland. Before he ends with a raging infection though he needs to get it taken care of...... I would hate to see that he ended up with MRSA or a flesh eating bacteria in that wound!
