When I think of 'Scissorman'(SNES), then I think of this deformed kid with huge scissors appearing out of nowhere, scaring me shitless as a child. Sleepless nights, I tell you.

If you couldn't beat them, not only would the plot be broken from the inside out, but we CT, CT2a, & CT2b players would expect each monster to follow you all the time, & slowly corner you. 5 murderers, (a.k.a. 4 bosses) chasing you would be chaotic, and nobody would want to play.
