I think he did in the 70's keeps. He was such a good man. Ever hear of the story on how a woman had an abortion but only her and her mother knew? But it was revealed by God to Padre Pio. So Piio hears her cinfession and he tells her to go wal up a mountain a few times and try to remember any more sins. She did but said nothing else. So then he says "Didn't you think that he would have grown up to be a priest?" She was shocked that he knew about the abortion. Who else but God could've told him?

I love Padre Pio, my uncle was on his death bed and we prayed to Pio. Some days later it was as though my uncle had come back to life. it was a true miracle witnessed in our own family, he is a true saint.
A good man who always pointed everyone to Jesus Christ. Every once in a while the Lord sends either a prophet or a person blessed like Padre Pio to show the world there is more to life then money, riches and fame. We were created to worship God and fellowship with Him. Thank you for this video.

They brought scientists to look up his hands and believe me they had no real explanation for the miracle. God chose him to bare his wounds. He was embarrassed by his stigmata because it drew a lot of people and attention onto him. He wanted to suffer alone in silence and humbleness. It was not about money or fame or donations. It was God's will and God's plan.

I was reading a book on the life of padre pio one night before going to bed, and dozed off that night I dreamt a big black rat was on me so I grabbed the rat and with all my might flung it to the floor. In the morning while still in bed, I immediately thought of how real this dream seemed,so I sat up in bed looked twords the floor and saw that I had not flung a black rat but a relic of the good padre to the ground!!!

@trippletsense It is believed by some that St Paul was the first to receive the stigmata. Gal 6:17 "I bear, on my body, the marks of Jesus". There have been many saints throughout history that had the stigmata - St. Francis of Assisi comes to mind.

I remember, when i was a child, I was gave a relic of padre pio, and told to kiss it, i got embarrassed and didnt, but held it in my hand. when the people that were in the room left, the room went ice cold, then really warm, in a matter of seconds... i could feel a presence around me of comfort, and i felt that it was Padre Pio, when one of the persons that gave me the relic returned, everything just went back to normal.
i will never forget it, and never be embarrassed to show my faith again.

I think he did in the 70's keeps. He was such a good man. Ever hear of the story on how a woman had an abortion but only her and her mother knew? But it was revealed by God to Padre Pio. So Piio hears her cinfession and he tells her to go wal up a mountain a few times and try to remember any more sins. She did but said nothing else. So then he says "Didn't you think that he would have grown up to be a priest?" She was shocked that he knew about the abortion. Who else but God could've told him?

I heard a lot about him from Fr. Benedict Groeshel on EWTN when he was talking with a Baptist preacher (I think) on His episode of Sunday Night Live.

My point, Faith, was it was an ~Anglican~. St. Padre Pio, when his friend Mary Pyle was trying to convert her mother...The good Padre told Mary to leave her alone...she was at peace with God. <-If there was any chance that her salvation was at risk, I think he would've said otherwise.

No you miss understand, the waffer was what i received in the catholic church as a child, i saved some 4 my pet mouse, and he lived to squeek the tale. I never said that Gods truth had overflowed to timothys ORAL tradition. You may have read wrongly. I said Timothy was taught in the already circulating traditions of early jews and Christians Such as Paul, example; luke 24:47 Through the gospel being preached comes the forgivness of sins. The authority to teach was given to the Apostles, NOT a bunch of crowd outside. That authority was passed on from one generation to the next. The argument here is who has the authority TO TEACH.

I was reading a book on the life of padre pio one night before going to bed, and dozed off that night I dreamt a big black rat was on me so I grabbed the rat and with all my might flung it to the floor. In the morning while still in bed, I immediately thought of how real this dream seemed,so I sat up in bed looked twords the floor and saw that I had not flung a black rat but a relic of the good padre to the ground!!!

Beautiful vid. We have just enough miracles in the church to prove we're not some evil organisation as despised by many anti Catholics. My friend, Show me in the Bible where this teaching of marys tomb being empty, surrounded by flowers,etc etc. you will have to admit that it is not in the bible. It is taught to children as if it were fact, with no point of reference in the Bible. So please dont say i am in darkness when i Know this is not in the bible. Gods word is Truth, this is fact.

The Bible was composed to help us believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Jn 20:30-31 tells us clearly why 'the written accounts of Jesus'. Seen that u r all for Bible only, I wonder what you would be like these days if the Bible was never composed/canonised by the Church. Who would u be listening to to teach the truth? OR u might never believe at all that Jesus is the Messiah because it is not written as proof for u to believe since u r for 'only what's written in the Bible is true'.

Surely Paul would be contradicting himself here with ur interpretation of 2Tm3:16, wouldn't he? You can't separate the Church and the Bible, NO YOU CAN'T because it canonised it, it determined which books were inspired and which weren't. The Word of God is in the heart of the Church. The Church is the pillar = every Born again believer.Acts 16:30 8:37 13:39 those who trust in Christ for there Salvation. John 6:40.. 2 thess2:15, traditions which were taught then either by apostles words or by their letters, only the inspired utterances of those apostles. Jesus condemned the scribes and pharisees for nullifying the commandments of God by their traditions Matthew 15:6.. Paul warns also against traditions that contradict the Words inspired by God. Yes there eternal destiny depends on it (John3:17) Messages of Medugorje book, introduction 21 lines down, This book does not seek to convince you of the authenticity of the events of medugorje and respects your right at all times to choose.. I'd say that they are not in the bible. but i wouldnt make up fairytale miracles and attribute them to Jesus, if it were not so, written in His Holy Word the bible. Has God not given you enough in His truth? Can you give me an example of these other things which Jesus has done? No, of course not, so we dont fabricate stories that have not been recorded, unless the Holy Spirit gave men utterance to do so, as he already has in the bible. Reason John 21:25.. Enough in HIS word
