TG IS the real industrial sound.....period! These new assholes , well I dont even have a word for their kind of crap ass music.... Right! Nine Inch Dicks are fulll of shit if they think they are industrial. I hate them!
@W4RW017 oh cool.i love electronic music becuase i was raised by a ameture ham radio operator.he taught me morose code, and the squelch and dialing in frequency.the sounds made.he used to build the boards in front of me.it was real cool.
TG were always industrial, never were they punk. Hackney, what a place! Yes, their music was always on par with Cabaret Voltaire and the post war industrial sounds environment definitely sound like they'd influenced the music. No doubt about that.
There should an ACTUAL documentary on TG. Not to mention there should be one on industrial music in general (and no, I don't count that crappy one about Nine Inch Nails -- which ISN'T industrial music).
@IndustrialMilitia i kno they are both brown bread now but what about Coil? They are, after all, 'Post Industrial", and probably the most influential of that particular genre...Autechre, Matmos, AFX etc etc are all Coil devotees!

I still bow Throbbing Gristle even if it sounds ridiculous. I saw them at Coachella 2009 and I felt like I saw god. Why so much fanatism about them? Because are the godfathers of Industrial, there is too much meaning about what they explain in that video.
The two tracks are "Hot on the Heels of Love" and "Still Walking" off of the album "20 Jazz Funk Greats." Be sure to go out and pick it up today. I have just realized that someone has already got this information covered as I am writing this. Oh well, go out and pick up the album. Classic.
