When all the lights came on I thought you had activated a bomb. I need to get a new laptop, the one I am currently using is 8 years old, I think I deserve a new one. I am using a Toshiba Satellite and it seemed reliable enough so I might stick with Toshiba, is this Qosmio any good?

I just got mine last Friday and been using it a fair bit since, Windows 7 is a bit different from XP so it's taken time to setup and get used to it, the first thing i noticed watching your video though is your keyboard lite up like a Xmas tree where as on mine only the keys to the left that control video, sound and power etc. light up red on mine, i've not been able to find or see anywhere to turn my keyboard light on so i'm thinking either i got a defectinve one, also no finger print reader.

@LaMoncha Sure no problem thanks for looking. I was looking for an unbox when I bought it but couldn't find one. So i decided to do one.

I haven't really run any of those yet. But I do have a video editing software which I have used and it does a great job encoding videos and everything.

I have one complaint though and that is the webcam. Kind of blurry. 'I am going to contact toshiba and see if it is an error on my computer.

Yes of course I just bought my Qosmio X500/X505. and I have to install Max and Photoshop for my work and runs very well.

In fact is faster than my old quad-core desktop

@AussieMike23 I haven't run anything that challenging for the comp yet. I have run FIfa 10 and it looks and plays awesome.
