To the guy who said Moroccans are not Arabs you are stupid, the majority or Moroccans are Arabs while there are also many Berber people, I would say there is almost an equal amount but it's hard to tell, a lot of Moroccans are mixed being part Berber and part Arab, we Moroccans don't try to differentiate between Moroccan Arabs and Berber Arabs.
Listening to his English accent here, which has a touch of French in it,I am surprised, actually admired how he did the 'Arabic English' accent for 3kings.C'mon Said was the show-stealer of the movie.Who can forget the line,'What ees the BROBLEM weeth Michael JacksUn?"
I truly enjoyed listening to Mr. Saïd Taghmaoui's interview. I was very impressed with his poise, self-assurance, and overall dignity. As a young actor of French-Moroccan origines I can totally relate to his struggle and commitment to his craft. I wish him the best of luck and success in both his profession and personal life. One Love~ kamal
everyone shut the fuck up he's a good actor he has worked hard to get to where he is and is now a famous actor. do any of you work in hollywood and appear in movies? can any of you speak 5 languages? and speak them well? i think not now shut the fuck up and go get laid
heheheheh this interview wasnt about the movie at all . its about a persons origins ! said no matter where you go homie , you are moroccan , even if you reject that ! your eyes , your hair , your skin , your accent , will give you up!!! be praise and thank god for what you are not what you are trying to be !
Where in the world are you getting the idea that he is rejecting his Moroccan background? He was born and raised in France. Doesn't he have a right to 'feel' French, too?
its hollywood's that fuggin' you. they are going to gross over 500 mio domestically anyway. there are countless of GI fans who are lining up to watch it.
he was talking about the beauty of immigration obviously he is not that well articulate in English.you are nitpicking. But your in your little biaised world you assumed it was there to wipe out the white french culture.if you are comparing it slavery and colonialims lol! you could have a point then this is France's history.
As far as I am concerned the offsprings of immigrants all add an extra fine layer to the French landscape and everyone here feels French to a great extent.racism or not.
France succeeds in lettting their immigrants feel french and yet feel proud of their own roots, as where as the Netherlands fail because here they don't feel dutch. Strange thing is that friends with moroccan roots born in France but living in the Netherlands feel dutch and do not make such an issue about their roots. How come they have a higher esteem about themselves in France?.
Said is not an immigrant, he is French born and raised.
what is that you are arguing about.what is it that stifles you lol!.Assimilation through language, dress code ,eating habits, repsect of local customs.because Said already has all that.and what makes you think that Said isn't proud of being of arab origin just like De Niro is proud to be italian and also american. get a clue a dual cultural heritage is a reality.being french , feeling french is one thing.
Immigrants of the Islamofascist kind and their children!!!? Hmmm...
...an example of the extra fine layer to the new and improved French landscape that the Islamofascist give to France that you like to portray as a postive here, watch:

I am excited about the movie, but I don't care less or am impressed with Saïd Taghmaoui's politics.
"Immigration is an amazing force," he says. I ask, like a weapon wiping out beautiful distinct cultures like the French culture?
