Riffharder - The music in the 60 second cut down that you saw was composed by the brilliant Les Gock when he had Song Zu in Sydney. He composed the first two tracks in this version and produced the re-recording of Steve Winwood's "Gimme Some Lovin'" at the end. The shorter version was cut more than a year later, after the license to the Steve Winwood track had expired, so Les was engaged to compose another track for it. All in all, an awesome job.
To anyone who might know.this ad aired in Australia in a much shorter version but with not one of the bands on this soundtrack....it was one piece of musi and sounded a bit like the Stones....does anyone know the one I mean and where the music came from?....Thanks!!
Classic! I always took this commercial to be an omen. It talks about the Gator team being crushed by it's opponents during the Orange bowl final. Then after half time, the Gators come out to play, but as a different team. They run right over their hapless opponents and win.
I saw this commercial for the first time during half time of the 1998 AFL Grand Final, where Adelaide was being smashed by North Melbourne. Then after half time Adelaide came out and ran right over North...Spooky, but true.
Glad they like Seminole Firewater so much.
