  • slow as shit, get a pathfinder..

  • She'll reach 220-230km/h with small modifications as exchanging ECU, that's great!

  • i get 195 too also at 4.0 v6 but mine 2007 on high gear 30% front 70% rear

  • @vivz990 what is a point of 4.0? My mom has a one with 2.7 and i can tell u it has same accelerations and speed limit as urs. BTW remove catalyzer, acceleration gonna be a bit faster.

  • i have a prado 2008 vx but i dont know the HP really can u tel me plz?

  • @rawaise its's 150 or 163.

  • The 4L prados got guts...maybe the reason why hes showing speed..plus some look too lux to go offroad

  • ohh ,, i'm sorry for TOYOTA compani

  • Why showing speed on a Land Cruiser? For heavens sake, you dont buy a LC for speed. In fact, its about the only reason, NOT to buy a LC. Best car in the world, but not for driving on high speed.

  • @Ottokar0712: I second you, these are not vehicles built for speed, they are built to tackle the wild. However thre r so many out there who wants to get an idea abt the acceleration and top speed of the vehicle, which is why this is up here :).It is just a part of testing the vehicle. And tell me bro, how many true off-roaders do you find off the tracks?? most of these end up being on the motorways hauling families to and fro comfortably while not even getting to taste road side mud puddle! Sad.

  • @Ottokar0712 when u dont have a thing...u talk like that

  • This isn't a VX. The VX has optitron instrumentation....either that or its pre-2008.

  • my 530i would kill this

  • @mpdp85 v6 sedan vs v6 truck ? Lol .

  • @mpdp85 :D wow

  • lolz. this video has most views coming from Kazakhstan. it makes perfect sense. the car is proll one of the most popular in here =)

  • 2006*

  • um sorry the 2005 one

  • wait we have the 2004 prado does it have a different engine and this is a 5-speedauto ours is only 4 wtf?

  • @Jippoification If yours is only 4 speed then that means you have the 2.7.

  • my dodge viper srt10 will smoke that toyota it ante got noting my viper goes 360 mpg v10 over 1500 hp

  • @cynthiajudith93 this toyota is not a drag race car... idiot... -.-'

  • @CIKO32123 Mate i own a 2008 prado and it flogged a holden vy ss ute when it was stock... thay can handle the high speeds easy trust me mines supercharged now with a 2inch lift and i can hit 180 so yer.. , do you own one?

  • use Uni chip computer it will open over 200 Km/h

dont worry wont show you check engine

  • @badman2009 : will try telling that to the rental guys :D ...this was a rented vehicle...even disabling ecu restrictions will get it flying past 200; the 4.0L unit is very powerful!

  • I'll try to record it at the next opportunity.

  • oh.k..now i watched my own video closely..at 195, it is still in 4th gear...there are only 4 shifts happening! so you maybe right :)

  • no, auto.

my cruiser switches from 170 kph in fifth gear @ 3000 rpm, if he has reached the vmax, then he turns at 3500.

  • 190kph @ 5000 rpm? my cruiser takes 190kph @ 3500 rpm, fifth gear.

  • manual?? still, 3.5k rpm is unbelievable.....anyways, in this one, i kept the gas pushed alll the way down and it's auto gear....but i assume it was in 5th already!

  • so the accelerator was all the way on the floor??

  • do you have a diesel? because i don't think diesel and petrol have the same gearbox. I make somewhere between 3500-4000 rpm is the 2008 3.0 prado at 185 km/h 6 speed manual

  • what is the light flashing underneath the speedometer?

  • that is the visual warning for speeding over 120 kph

  • thanks, my old man has a prado and they are great cars

  • think it's for something else because if stepped diesel prado '08 till 180 km/h several times and i've never seen that

    and i always drive @ 130/140 km/h on highway

  • @jan585 : this ones a gasoline 4.0L variant :)

  • so only petrol ones do that?

  • @jan585 : probably yes..I checked your video; but i cannot make out if it is an electronic limitation...however, considering that the revs for a diesel engine is not more than 4.5k, there is a possibility tat the speed is restricted to 175 kph for engine protection!

  • hm, yea but i can go to 4.5k rpm and i've managed 185 a few times now but still no 190 ..

  • nice vid.
