  • That is sick :O

  • Nice scenario.

Do you use Flash in camera to Landscape photography? :x

  • eine wirklich gute animation!!!

  • Holy FUCK

  • amazin!!

  • the tower has a lot of flickering but very good!

  • You tried to show us how hard it is to make, but your final result is so bad

  • @VoidStyleTV Bad? And this is coming from someone who's youtube video 'work' consists of a Fraps capture from some game? Why diss someone's detailed and loving work, when you probably don't even understand it, let alone could do it yourself?

  • @nexusdawn Lol, m8, I don't care how much time you spent on it, I can just see the final result which looks bad IMHO. Moar butthurt

  • @VoidStyleTV It's not my video. I was simply wondering why you act like a 12 year getting her period. But now I understand you Are a 12 year old on her rag. Cheers mate.

  • nice!

  • the issue with this technic is you cant place camera where ever you like you are very limited is that correct or not

  • is this matte extraction

  • Wow thats amazing nice work :D !

  • whats the song? :)

  • one of the most beautiful matte painting I have ever seen. You are very talented. All the best!

  • pretty good setup, maybe can a depth pass and a digital camera aperture and I think you got it. I love looking at these breakdowns....so cool

  • thats sickk, do u think youd be able to make an intro on that? please id love to be able to do that. message me if you do or dont make one please, ill sub you.

  • great job man. I don't know, maybe its just me but i think the tower is a little to dark on the left side,

  • Amazing :P

  • Oh wow, this all looks brilliant! Is it hard to pick up?

  • this was a great video...thanks for laying out what you did step by step. :)

  • the way i do it, is that i gett a picture from google earth, because when texturing the mountain with a bird view picture you can move the camera in any angle

  • Very nice, and what's that beautiful music you've used? Thanks for sharing this.

  • so damn good

  • should of added focal falloff int the background when moving the camera into the tower. Also some cloud movement in the sky would be nice along with fog movement. Good stuff though

  • it's very very good footage...only one thing i did not like...the texture of the first mountain...it likes low res... -.-...any way good job

  • BEAUTIFUL !!!

  • Nice, the only issue was that everything was too 'diffusy', and... oh wait, I just saw the final composite. Good work!

  • amazing stuff man!

  • Perfect! Respect!

  • pretty nice, but some fog in the distance would do it some good. Plus I would add more texture to the watchtower, since it was gray. And the background mountain looks really flat.

But again, this is great. I couldn't hope to do this in a long time. Great job.

  • very good work, only thing missing is 2 or 3 layers of snow falling from the sky to had more motion, but in overall 5 stars.

  • Hi Joelsga nice work!! How long did you work on this?

  • BEST VID IN YOUTUBE

    Song Name ?

  • very nice, well done! :P

  • very nice, well done ! :P

  • nice

  • que bonito video y que bien demuestras el poder del matte painting.

    gracias, muy bueno.

  • good job, this should have much more views ;D

  • omg nice!

  • wow i love this video. simple but yet beautiful and the music is gr8! hope 1 day u make a tutorial on something like this!?

  • Nice!

I've been looking for a Cinema 4D Projection Man tutorial but can't seem to find any. I guess the feature is too new yet, but R11 has been around since 2008.

  • i'm trying to achieve a good snowy mountain in C4D like yours. how did you do it? thanks!

  • There are lots of ways to do it....

-One way is to create a snowy mountain texture in photoshop....with picture manipulation..... and then import this texture to cinema 4D as a new material.

  • -Another way is to do camera mapping.

Just create a 3D object that looks like the mountain you want in your image. tham import you image as a material. and ad it to the 3D object. Change the projection to camera mapping.... the and a virtual camera. this will project the image of the mountain on to your 3D mountain.

Please look for a cinema 4D Camera Mapping/Camera Projection Tutorial.

    Peace J

  • SO what did you do in the final composite??

    Was it putting a vignette?

  • the last thing i did was color correct to my liking....with a bleach bypass effect....and a color gradient...with a red effect....

  • your work is mindblowing. may i ask how long this took you?

    thanks

    - j

  • final stuff is cool indeed

  • Alls i have to say is WOW. I mean really, WOW.

  • ooh. That's pretty good. This looks like you used Blender. Am I correct?

  • Cinema 4D and Photoshop

  • hahaha. I'm way off on the 3d editor then. I figured photoshop.

  • @Joelsga amazing

  • great work ...
