Is there anything like this with the 2011 C 63 coupe or new IS F? Looking at trading up from my E 350 to more power next spring, after the winter is over. I love the raw power of the C, and that sound is awesome, but I have heard great things for the new IS F. The M3 is the M3. I've yet to hear anything really negative about it, and yes, I know, I will take them for their test drives, but the reality is, I can't take them out and run them hard with the sales guy beside me.

As for running them hard during a test drive, what I found was that with the M3 and the IS-F, they had specific sales people for those cars, and since you're test driving one that's already broken in, they don't mind you givin er a little. They'll panic if you try to drift, but you can do your normal street driving, if that includes flooring it, power slide out of a corner.

Did he ever mention how bad the automatic gearbox in the Mercedes is? In that you have to hit the paddles 700 to 1000 revs before it hits redline? Otherwise, it will cut off the power. We had this same problem in our SLK55 AMG which is why we got rid of it.

How well your car puts out the power is one of the key factors of good performance on the track the gear raitios and the clutch and the traction control all go with alot of power really well but there is always how much torque your car puts out to much torque and not very good traction control cause your car to wheel spin and their is always FWD RWD and AWD if your car has good traction control then that helps handle the power and torque well that will make your car put out the torque alot beter

You add the ctsv to compare against a c63 and an m3 because the ctsv doesnt compete with those cars it competes with the M5 and E63 and the ctsv kills all of them.

Yes, I did drive a CTS-V and it does handle like crap. I had a 99 E36 M3 and switching to the CTS-V I felt a lot difference between handling. Also the CTS-V's clutch didn't feel sporty it was too loose. Don't get me wrong a CTS-V is a great car all i'm saying is you cant compare it to an M3. It handles well but not enough to be compared to an M3. It's not a brand baby I will take a Z06 over a Ferrari anyday. (Price and Performance)
