  • "utterlysimple" is right! The intro to this song, "Over and Over" sounds very, very much like The Music Explosion's "Little Bit o' Soul" -- which happens to be one of my all-time favourite rock and roll songs!

  • WOW! I havent heard this in a long time!

  • What a find!!!! Thank you so much for posting this. I feel like crying.

  • I'm going to listen to this song Over and Over! ;)

  • The beginning sounds like Little Bit O' Soul by The Music Explosion...

  • Love this song so much, I'll listen over and over!

  • This song almost dosn't suck..

  • For a bunch of cartoon characters these guys sure had a bunch of hits!

  • i love the archies

  • I think they got just the right amount of cowbell.

  • @Michaeldean88 LOL! I don't think anyone who has never read the comment thread on "Don't Fear the Reaper" would understand about the "Great Cowbell Debate".

  • @Michaeldean88 -yezzzz.....a pretty tune, and "you a funny guy" - too bad elementary school can't repeat itself-used to listen to these guys all day...

  • god...i had forgotten about this one....thanks!!!!

  • I can listen to this "over and over and over again" :P

  • I freaked when I heard the first notes of this song! I love it and totally forgot about it! Heard it as a kid, and never again til now. Thanks for posting. I'm gonna play it Over and Over! Ha!

  • Wow, does this bring back some wonderful memories. Thanks for this

  • I love this

  • ah one of the tunes i saw on the archie show before later was lost but was a music segment also which is missin

  • Omg thank you! this flower child is having some major flashbacks here, you have no idea how much I love hearing this song again. I grew up on these songs in the 60's, If there is anyway you could find the songs Inside out, upside down and Circle of Blue I'd love to hear them :)

  • @monicaoolala1 search for Josie and the Pussycats for the cartoon song Inside, Outside, Upside Down. Was my favorite from them!

  • @monicaoolala1 And this former hippy is having some flashbacks, too. Even though I thought I was too cool to be getting into "the Archies" at the time, nowadays, after logging onto these Archies tunes, I just can't think of this music without cracking a big smile. Ron Dante, in an interview with GOLDMINE commented that anyone who didn't think the Archies was cool, just didn't get it. And the more I think of it, the more convinced I am that he's right!

  • the live action archie by real actors just not work and why it failed as a made for Tv movie

  • Great song! It's on The Archies' "Sunshine" album. I'm a HUGE Archies fan, and i have all their records, incuding their 2008 Christmas release which features Ron Dante once again as the singing voice of Archie. Interesting thing about this song-anyone notice that the intro to this song is exactly the same as The Music Explosion's "Little Bit of Soul"? Come to think of it, the chorus is almost the same too! Ah, that great bubblegum music!-

  • @spy4863 Great observation.....I noticed the "Little Bit O' Soul" chord structure as well.

  • Love this song, too ! Pretty good pics ! THX a lot !
