that recipe looks very good and authentic. question: i have seen some people add garbanzos, carrots, epazote and onion to the soup, is this the way to do it or not. thank you for sharing. where can i get a penca, but I live in san diego,????
@elimonjal We believe there is no '1 Way' to cook a dish. If they added ingredients you mentioned that is their way and we look forward to hearing about how it tasted!!!
Penca leaves are hard to find, but your proximity to Mexico may make it easier than for us in NYC.
