@Stillwell86 They aren't actually sick if you did the research, just because they have a genetic defect does not mean that they are any worse. Genetic differences are what defines breeds and races of animals. Through breeding cats and other animals to have these defects and other genetic mutations we now have all of the different breeds that people know and love today. If people look after these animals correctly (which most do) these genetic differences are not a bad thing.

Just because this breed of cat has little hair, it really doesn't produce a deficiency to the animal's health; the only major differences are that you need to keep them out of a lot of sunshine and provide more heat. I'm not saying that it is allowable to inbreed creatures to retain certain qualities at the cost of the animals health; but it is okay to produce different gene mutations in the right conditions.
