I have been there 14 out of the 18 years that its been going on and its been getting bigger and bigger every year. I believe in 2006 there was a total of a million people the whole weekend. Not much to see on the Thursday's and Friday's, Saturday is a MUST for route 66. It was a first time for my boyfriend. They Actually had "Elenore" From Gone In 60 seconds there this year. We both where getting chills when we saw it.
Nice. Yeah, I keep hoping my dad's '70 El Camino SS396 will be ready for it; maybe next year. Classic cars will never go outta style, thanks for the comment.
We got there about 10 and left about 2:30; it wasn't anymore crowded that it usually is, but there were a ton of cool rides. If you live in SoCal, it is a must-do every year. :)

The cars were great but the problem was that they closed to early.. they closed at 9! but other than that it was great! i went every single day!

I went on a Saturday, because I was afraid that there wouldn't be as much to see on Sunday; did they start leaving early on Sunday?

ya they closed at 4 pm on sunday.. =( theres wasnt much cars on sunday like 18 i think but the fire demparment where their playing the games
