  • The reason that the termites didn't bother the other logs and the west pen, is because they are probably made out of Yellow Poplar tree's. Termite's will NOT touch Yellow Poplar, don't ask me why because I don't know. But I do know that you can ask any termite inspector/extermanator about termites and Yellow Poplar, and they will tell you the same thing.
