Blue Screens are usually caused by hardware problems or by driver issues. Every blue screen has a code to it and if you write it down and look it up online you can find out what causes the bluescreen. Drivers and Hardware problems are not caused by windows but maybe microsoft will have a geek squad stationed at the store. OS X gets Kernel Panics too which are equivalent to blue screens.

Also, yes you're right everyone things BSOD is caused by windows but it's a HARDWARE failure meaning take your crappy computer you bought like 6 years ago to the dumpster and get a new one...or just replace the faulty part-something you can easily do with a PC most of the time.

Why do you think all of the PC hardware is junk? I'm using a dell studio XPS 710 and in my opinion it looks better than even a Mac Pro. However, it's not the case that matters, it's what is on the inside. You're saying that all PC hardware is crap yet most PCs run intel processors. Guess what apple uses? Intel Processors. Apple and every other Hardware company use the exact same hardware. They don't make the parts, they just assemble them.

For instance, havent you ever seen the commercials that proudly advertise the use of intel processors in apple's computers? you should give Apple a try. i am not a fan of the Apple store because it is nuts. i go to the local Apple MacAuthority they pay close attention to your needs but Apple care is great and i always recommend purchasing it. i would also purchase and customize my Apple online.

While we were there she decided get Adobe Photoshop, but the bozo there tried to sell her the entire CS3 suite stating that it is much better than the stand-alone version. I told her that it was complete BS, and suggested she wait and just buy it online. The next day, that's what she did. Man what a joke...
