hahahaha!!! I just caught the end!! He was putting Bobby on! That's why he was over acting! He meant to over act!! LOL! Brilliant Val Kilmer, brilliant!!!!
yes it were dialoges and characters like this which make the movie fascinating to watch. Of course the professional actors like Kilmer or Goodman are great too. All but Dylan of course, he has many talents - but probably not acting - but anyhow - the movie is great.
it wasn't that bad, a little scrambled perhaps, but worth watching once. the quotes which can be hard to catch considering the dialog was mostly schizophrenic gobbledygook..were amazing. I can see how it was confusing, it was defiantly abstract and quite frankly, original.
actually pat garrett and billy the kid is an amazing movie; one of sam peckinpahs best. The reviews when it first came out are really only negative because MGM fucked it up.
Bob looks so old and cute haha

Bob Dylan does a good job acting in this scene but Val Kilmer totally overacts and is not believable.

Sorry, but even great cast can't save this movie - very boring and really useless

The movie is incredibly bad. The story might have worked but the plots and dialogue were incredibly disjointed.
I managed to sit through about half of it before walking.
It's set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic CA. That should be in about two years at the rate Collyfornia is going.

I understand it perfectly fine thank you. Understanding cinema has nothing to do with how you feel about the film and script.

Points for *honesty*.
I wonder just how many people maybe felt less than blown away by this thing but would pretend -and to themselves also- otherwise.
They'll give you a bunch of thumbs down for speaking your mind and a bunch of thumbs up for praising the great man.
