I prayed yesterday, to see an apple in my apartment, somehow someway the next day. To see if my mind had power to synchronize reality. Not only is the apple present in this video but this whole video reflect my inner most being. My innermost self....i was a bit drunk and laughing like a maniac, how could this be? How?

This video was vwery deep, the musiv i sincredible, with its bold climax but soft tone it made a huge impact on me. The animation is perfect and was beter than the makeing but I liked that one better, with a much better ending it made more sence to the story. Like I said, this is a beautiful piece and Tira (yes everyone, that's a female, look at Mr Lee's Deviantart) is someone we can love and relate because she had so much before but lost everything (including her beauty) because she won't conform to society. An excellent piece with interesting elements on the themes of shame, sacrifice, pain and freedom.

I have to say this is one of my most favored short film's i've seen yet. The fact thati t doesn't tell you is what make's me even happier about it. Loved the art, music, and effect's. I hope i can see more of these from you.
My favorite thing is what people seem to critique most; that it's too hard to understand. Everyone's so concerned with people "getting it" or "finding the meaning" but you throw that straight out the window and leave us with a beautiful impression and what we make up in our own head about it. Where do you go if you refuse the fruits of heaven, hell and purgatory?
The art direction and animation was outstanding. Unfortunately, the video didn't give us enough context to properly understand or appreciate the concept to the fullest. It felt like I was watching the middle part of a trilogy of short films. Why was he being imprisoned/tempted by other angels? Why were the angels machines? The halo becoming a collar was a nice touch. Was the woman supposed to represent an Eve figure? Did he recognize her from his past life? Why did they recapture him at the end?
I totally agree with @MarcoSnow88, and i think you should make more short films to complement this one. But apart from that, the film is outstanding, it's really diffrent from today's entertainment. And the music is great as well.

In my opinion, the lady the angel saw was somehow who she was before and seeing that remnant of her past and banishment just drove her into despair. @MarcoSnow88 the angel in purgatory offered the apple. and the main character accepted the offer so the chains came down and took her back to heaven. she cried because when you eat the apple of knowledge you know all about everything, but you dont have anymore emotions.
@MarcoSnow88 I think this was a brilliant film, especially compared to many short films viewed. Your questions should not be implied to this film because this is not a movie, but rather a glimpse into an event of this soul's life. But if I were to analyze this film the way you did, I'd answer your questions as so:

Upon first watching this film I expected her to be a past love, however after reanalyzing this, I see her as a higher up woman to tthe angels. The angel is really a female named Tira and she was banished as she wouldn't conform or something; there is some conceptual art of her in Mr Lee's DeviantArt. Hope this helps.

@MarcoSnow88 the angel in purgatory offered the apple. and the main character accepted the offer so the chains came down and took her back to heaven. she cried because when you eat the apple of knowledge you know all about everything, but you dont have anymore emotions.

Your questions should not be implied to this film because this is not a movie, but rather a glimpse into an event of this soul's life. Upon first watching this film I expected her to be a past love, however after reanalyzing this, I see her as a higher up woman to tthe angels. And I believe he was recaptued because he was falsely accused. That is my interpretation of this film in response to your questions.

unlike anything I've ever seen. You can't compare this to Tarboy at all... I don't think anything can top Tarboy but this is something COMPLETELY different. It certainly made me think twice about animation in general... thanks for posting this.

This animation is wonderful-It inspired me to try again at animation. I've been trying and trying at it for awhile,but I always give up. Most animations already give me inspiration,ideas,and hope,but this one kicked it up.
This is a really great piece. Sure,some might think this is a little too dramatic to give somebody hope on their own work,but hey. I love dramatic.

Amazing! I like the music so much (I downloaded it already, reminds me of Evanescence, maybe you are related to Amy Lee xD) and that goth style is so awesome... I find it very abstract and keep trying to get any symbolism (apple, heaven, chain and so on) though it might be in vein and you just made it like that so it can be a peace of art and so we can enjoy it without bugging ourselves trying to find some hidden messages... If you can enlighten us, please, if not thanks anyway, it's great!
