  • @755hp no this mine's gtr is too beast...it already has beaten high hp supras in japan. It has an awesome suspension and it has mild hp.The car still has full interior lol. Its taken out higher hp skylines as well. Mine's just knows their stuff

  • the stu is clearly faster on this track, the driver was holding back you can see from the cockpit cameras that he is doing uneeded faning of the throttle and steering movement.

  • @hazmatsystem88 actually if you knew shit about high powered 4wd cars you'd kjnow that when you have that much power you just understeer. he backs off of the throttle to regain control of the car. that sti is faster on straights for sure. but it definitely cant put all that power to the ground while turning. the steering movement should be self explanatory. but i'll explain it. when you lose grip, you have to turn the wheel back to a point where you have grip and then try to turn again.

  • @specialdeathx Supra were unique when they came out in 1993, and they still kick some ass in circuit and drag racing. From JSGT to wangan maximum speed attack , supra are underestimated. Its powerful engine, beautiful and killer looks, its aerodynamically and rigid body , its ultimate reliability for being a TOYOTA. and for it bulletproof engine and transmission. So, a lot of teams dont pay attention to them but like in castrol syntec top car challenge, they got surprise. Jajaja, ,,,,,,;D

  • @wardogmobius i see ur a supra fan boy but look if the supra platform was as amazing as u say, with the supirior chassis/aerodynamics/drivetrai­n then professional race teams everywhere would be using them. the fact of the matter is no supra ANYWHERE is winning in evnets such as T.A. or rally or autocross or GT cup theyre just not that amazing. u have the street car world and the race car would mixed up sadly. purpose built race cars are 100% different beasts and unfortunently theyre not supras

  • @specialdeathx Im not a supra fan boy, IM A JDM FAN BOY!!! The car is a 19 year old model, oF COURSE, people dont use it that much for racing. The cars you mention have been constantly been upgraded and renewed or refresh over the years to stay in competition, and I love that dedication. But the supra has been underestimated for a long time, in many events of racing. Its fun to read once in while when a supra wins a event or makes fast numbers on tracks.

  • @specialdeathx . The supra also has a big advantage because its reliability for being a Toyota. Funny though, Some guy today brought me a supra that was dedicated solely for Fuji Speedway Time attack and another supra that made 1,403 hp on the dyno! :D......Funny isnt....jajaja

  • @wardogmobius look theyre are sti's and evos from the late 90s still in time attack so the whole being old has nothing to do with it. cool u can make over 1000 hp to the wheels but on a rwd car but u cant put that power down to the ground effectivly, and theyre are 2L 4cylinders that make over 1000 hp too so :/. and the supra cant hande as well as 4wd cars so its not really funny, its kinda sad.

Look, the supra is a superior machine than any car you said in term of reliability, performance, power and ,above all, reputation. Supra are extremely good in time attack, drag , drifting and endurance races. You just cant accept that the supra beat a GTR35 in the Castrol Syntec top car challenge. Though, I adore the gtr's, all of them, Especially, r32,r33,r34 and GTR35! LOL!

  • @mastergradeone its for increasing downforce on the front as you gain higher speeds. So yes, its for aerodynamics

  • @mastergradeone It is for that, and to help with tractions. Sometimes they put these on there to help with understeering issues. Also, depending on the car's needs and set up, it could help push air into the intercooler/intake. Could also help with aerodynamics, although it is rare people use it for that. Mostly the high end sports racing focus on aerodynamics like that.

  • @mastergradeone yes they're call canards and are used for front down force. with excessive torque the front of the car lifts which makes it easier for you to understeer around corners. so you use canards to push the front of the car down at high speeds

  • I agree, I mainly drive imports. but I am just as intigued and impressed by both modern and classic muscle cars. At the end of the day any car can be fast and/or fun to drive. The Mines GTR is sweet

  • What a valid comparision of two tuners/Cars..... NOT!!!

    If you want to see a valid US vs. Japan have two identical platforms, ie Supra v supra, Evo v evo, etc.

    Having a car that the US never had is unfair.

  • @scribklu Although the R34 was never officially released in North America, that's only for street use. There are quite a few R34s in the US that are track cars.

  • @REVULSIVE Exactly. The Amount of the R34's in the states is very small.  The number gets even small if you want to find some that can be compared with the Mines car.

  • @scribklu A big issue most people seem to have is that since it's a right-hand drive car so that's why it's not street legal. In Canada, it's legal to own one, you just can't drive it. There are some loopholes but that's not important.

    They're also expensive as hell, haha. I think it would still be pretty fair to put a R33 with a R34 engine swap up against the Mine's R34, or something to that extent. I guess there is still the Time Attack against the XS R34 though. Better than nothing, right?

  • @REVULSIVE dude what you are saying doesnt make any sense, they are perfectly street legal. there are dozens of jdm nissan gtrs, civics, supras, nissan silvias mitsu evos etc etc. only prob is canada only allows u to import cars that are 15 years old minimum(classic car classification). so these cars are usually older but still excellent condition. r32s are common and r33s are starting to come in. no r34s cus they are newer. theres a dude down the street with a r32 and its his daily driver.

  • @SKEGZ Same. I've seen a couple R32s here and there. I'm talking exclusively about R34s though, not older models or different makes. But I did get my facts wrong, the laws for right-hand-drive cars are different across provinces, so it's better to do research before you actually go out and buy a right-hand-drive car.

    R34s can cost about $30,000 to $50,000 or more to buy alone, but you also need to pay for the cost of actually importing the car. GT-Ts are cheaper, but they still cost a lot.

  • @REVULSIVE and by the way they arent expensive you can pick a r32 up for abt 8 grand and a r33 for about twice that give or take depending on condition and mileage.
