Anybody heard about sanctions? Embargo? , Threats that make the need of spending the 25% of the state's wealth in Weapons to defend the motherland inescapable? Anybody with brain in here??
a beautiful cosmopolitan city with very impressive shinny structures and no traffic backlogs, the great leader on the radio and TV all day every day, plenty of food, a workers’ paradise. I don't know you guys, but I think I am moving there even swimming if I have to, Pyongyang here I come!!!!
@bolimac That's pretty much what our guides tried to impress on us, or that it would be that way if only the US and South Korean "Puppet government" weren't interfering.
@Nicom47 thats right!! Pyongyang land is too large.. for the population Its like a 2000 sq meter mansion with only 3 people living inside. The size of Pyongyang can contain upto 6 million.. not 9.. Seoul is over 2 times the size of Pyongyang yet they only have around 9.2 million inside lets say 6.. There are 3 million people in Pyongyang 2,950,000 are using Public Transport. Only 50,000 uses Cars 10,000 are government owned
No one is using you said? In a city with a population over 1 million? Oh wait...maybe the hearsay is true. The population of Pyongyang is well under 10000. One million is overly exaggerated. Now that's make sense! Because most buildings are empty in Pyongyang...That explains why it looks like a few shining star in the outer space
Nice. Obviously a light nightlife visible and heard in the distance. Why is American media so upset by the fact that the DPRK doesn't waste its limited electricity on powering lights no one is using?
This shit is scary...

Love how the only really well-lit building is a massive phallic monument to a vague, meaningless non-ideology. Welcome to North Korea.

wrong.. Population of Pyongyang
is 3 million...
BUT.. The city size is for 9 million to fit inside..
this means that people are few
for the size of the city.. many
of the buildings are empty
because they are reserve buildings
for the the future..
they spent so much for these buildings
and now check out what happened.
