I think when they were touring for Iowa, or recording for Vol. 3, he kinda damaged his voice a bit. You'll see what I mean if you watch shows from around 2005. He has gotten a lot better since then, but its still not the same as the Iowa singing.

I'm a German SlipKnoT- fan from the beginning of the band which is the album SlipKnoT. MFKR didn't hit the crowd the same way like SlipKnoT, furthermore I hold the opinion that the established members which are representing SKT still today, give the basic of the band, absolutely every fucking one of them. And I have to agree with newbornheretic!The songs are still SKT,but in another way. They don't sound like SKT of the past. But Corey said,the old SKT will be back on the next record.
