  • I still can't comprehend how you look extremely ravishing in black...

  • haha, thank you very much :D

  • Wow you can do anything, you keep amazing me lol you're a comedian now too

  • Well, it was pretty much pointless, but thanks for the nice words :)

  • I'd never heard of "Feuilleton" until just now. I looked it up online.

I'm subscribed to a German Zeitung, but I can only understand about 1/3 of the words, so it's a pretty slow read.

"Economy is boring" -- I agree wholeheartedly

How long have you studied English? I don't even know how to say "goat" or "snail" in German. I'd have to look those words up. When I try to make a German video, I realize how limited my German vocabulary really is. :-/

  • I think I started learning Englisch in the fourth grade, so I've been learing it for 9 years now. So I should speak English better, but I think the courses were too easy. I wasn't forced to learn consequently but I got good marks anyway.

  • Also ich finde dein Englisch sehr gut, ist nämlich echt mutig von dir eine deutsche Zeitung auf Englisch vorzustellen! Nur weiter so, freue mich auf weitere Videos aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum.

    ps: zugeständnisse = concessions ;)

  • Dankeschön! :) (auch für die subscription)

  • o_O I just almost got a heart-attack!

To be honest, I didn't even listen to what you were babbling about, got distracted by the coulour of the walls (SO cool, btw).

And then, out of the blue, with no WARNING or something: my name! Wuaaah! I think, I jumped a little bit ^^

So, now we're almost quitt. Unfortunately I mentioned you another time in my birthday vid comments and sent people (again!) to your site for German lessons.

Seems like you have to make at least one more video, haHA!

  • Germany has a famous comedian? I didn’t even know they had comedians.

  • It makes me happy, that you know it know. For further information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_Waalkes.

    Thanks for your comment!

  • Don't forget Michael Mittermeier, Kaya Yana or Rüdiger Hoffmann. But my all time favourite is Volker Pispers.

  • Wow, yeah Volker Pispers is soooo great. I've seen him life in Würzburg. Was reallly awesome!

  • German humour is not for the faint of heart. LoL

And it doesn't really translate well into any other language, so unless you're a German speaker it's doubtful you will enjoy it. I wish you would, though, because Volker Pispers's humour is so dry, it whirls up dust.

  • I just added that link, because the quote was from Otto. Besides, the sentence didn't make sense anyway, neither in German nor in English (although you might understand it better, if you were German).

"Und sollte nicht auch einer von uns, oder morgen, oder heute, oder vielleicht nicht. Wer weiß. Schönen guten Abend."

  • Yeah, my last video was a bit shit, I kinda caught on when I was reading through the paper, haha, BUT IT WAS A NICE DAY! I WANTED TO MAKE A VIDEO! BORING OR NOT! haha

    Thanks for the response!

  • If your video would have been that boring, I hadn't made a response ;) (<- I hope I got that in understandable grammar)

It was an interesting idea, but I think the punchline was missing, at least in my video (since you had that neighbour-stuff ^^). And I really wanted to make a video response for the first time, and use that senseless sentence for the ending. So yeah, I have to thank you for giving me a video to respond to :)

And thanks for accepting my response! (^^)
