With your skin tone you can still use whatever color as a base. White creme bases are good because they make your bright eyeshadows more vibrant. While using dark or natural eyeshadows you'll want to use a translucent base.

Thanks mamas! Yea I hate baggies too .. i'd rather pay a little extra just for the jar. And to be honest, the sample in the jar is a good amount. It will last a lot of applications. It did not crease at all. :D

i'm sure someone else has mentioned it by now, but maybe you had an allergic reaction to the lipgloss? or maybe they put habanero juice in it...

the lip product was probably made with cinnamon.. cinnamon is commonly used for lip plumpers so.. thats why it burned... some ppl r more sensitive than others.. i personally do not like those burny lip products unless their made with mint

i feel you on the gel liners, i got some myself to test and review and I had the same issue. I also got a creme base in nude just like your translucent one and i had eyeshadow on for the whole day...i think it creased after like 10 hrs! but it's a good base...i liked it. let's see how it works for you! great review! i feel the same way, we gotta keep it real :)

thank you .. it's not a stupid question girl! pigments are loose eyeshadows. They are very highly pigmented (meaning they are more vibrant than regular pressed eyeshadows that are in solid form).. and very little goes a long way.
