It doesn't look that extreme, but that first drop makes you feel like the whole park is falling apart. Man....I loved that ride.

I used to go this park all the time, I lived maybe 45 minutes away and always got the season pass. This was by far my favorite ride at the park, a lot of great memorys from this video and all the other ones. I was heartbroken that they tore down the park as I pretty much spent my childhood to teenhood years here. It was a nice little park, complety different then Cedar Point, it had something charming about it that Cedar Point just never had. great times spent here.

I remember coming here on a fifth grade field trip in 2004. I rode this thing three times in a row. Why Cedar Fair closed down Geauga Lake is anyone's guess, but they shouldn't have done it.

Definitely my most favorite roller coaster I've ever ridden on. You seriously feel like you're about to die 5-6 times throughout that ride.

Its really awful that its been turned into scrap metal and firewood.

My best memory riding The Villain was riding it with my daughter and it started raining while we were going up the first hill.

The rain felt like little rocks hitting your skin going down those hills!

Since it was not a downpour and there was no lightning and no line, they let us stay on for another ride!

Great wooden coaster along with the Big Dipper!

I wish it was there because I never rode it, the last time I was at GL was the year Raging Wolf Bobs was new. Perhaps I was one person by not going every year ebded in it's closing. But I remember GL as a traditional amusement park. I remember the paddle boat ride, the funhouse before it was an arcade, the Skylift, the big dipper, and does ANYONE remember the ONE year that they had a Wild Mouse Ride?

This is sad news... I really liked this ride. It was rough but these old style wooden coasters are supposed to be. It was not as rough as the mean streak at CP, but it was a real fun ride. My daughter and I rode it a bunch of times one year and I will hold onto those memories.

i rode in the last cart on this ride and it was a total adventure! the cart like flew in the air and it wat the worst ride ever on that ride...but i still luv the villain! it was fun, but i yelld @ my friend for making me go in the last cart........lets just say he didn't force me to ride anything else that day...:):)

I would be very surprised. Why would they do that?  That would make no sense. This is a hybrid coaster, there are many wooden coasters with steel frameworks

Definately my favorite coaster, wooden or steel. It makes you feel like you wrestled with a bouncer by the time you get off but its worth every second of it. Its a terrible shame that Geauga Lake is closing. I live in Western PA and Geauga Lake is just close enough to Heinz Field to make for fun and exciting adventures.

This is a great coaster folks. It's comparable to the Gimini at Cedar Point in many ways. If anyone thinks this coaster is rough riding, well they havent rode the Mean Streak at CP. Now that ride can chip a tooth! (But it's fun)

I just found it incredibly odd, though I couldn't really pinpoint a reason. Some of the rides are very cool while others are just bizarre. There was also a strange feel around the place... the sort of place you'd expect a horror novel to be set. Still really enjoyed the day there and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to go back.

Probably odd to you because you didn't see it when it was "Six Flags Worlds of Adventure" from '01 to '03. Then, they had the whole one side of the lake as the former "Sea World" (animal attractions galore), and it was a lot more crowded. '06 saw a large drop off in attendance among other missing things since CF took over.
