I think it's important to note that this is being protective over your wife, not controlling and possessive. Modern women might feel oppressed by such behavior but that is a result of their "freedom of expression" aka "if you've got it, flaunt it. I say as a Muslimah that I would be honored if my husband worried about me like that. Unfortunately, the wandering eyes are not exclusively non-muslim.

There is a big difference between being "possessive" and having gheerah for your woman [as to say].
However walhamdulilaah you understand that, i initally thought you were saying the opposite, may Allaah reward you.
