I love those combs btw. BUT they're called cake cutter combs because way back when, they used a cake cutter that they were modeled after to cut angel food cake so that it wouldnt just mash it:)
@bbnne1 Don't be silly. Illogical? Yes, there might be one or two exceptions in every million people. But it is scientific fact that people originating from the different continents have different physical characteristics, including hair. L'Oreal, for example, have a lot of research on different properties of Asian vs African vs Caucasian hair. Even if the idea of race is very nebulous and kind of indefinable, "origin" (more or less the equivalent) definitely counts where hair is concerned
I agree with limiting the natural stuff because I find that my hair is more tangled with the natural products ( not all) but I have to stick to some of my products that has silicone in it inorder to keep my hair under control
yea white people think its disgusting when we dont wash our hair everyday . It`s annoyinq sumtymes explaining but I love tha black beauty so I deal w/it .
@to2cute4u Well our hair is just NOT as oily as theirs. I've had white friends where they don't wash their hair for one or two days, and they have this damp-looking seaweed hair just from oiliness. If I weren't to wash my hair for a YEAR, it would not get oily unless I added oil to it.
When i dont put any products on my hair and wake up, its extremely puffy and nappy! Ive tried everything and my hair is just terrible, i have to put bunch of moose and spray in order to fix it :(
Yes! I love the CHI products! I have only used the straight guard but because of how well my hair responded I will buy the infratreatment and silk infusion soon!
Same here, I wash my hair every 2 weeks as well. I can't wait until my hair gets to that length :) right now, its shoulder length straighten, and neck length naturally. Keep doing your thing :)
What? O.o I'm black and I have natural brown hair. o.O Though that is mainly because it gets bleached in the sun quite easily... doesn't make it less natural, though.

are you biracial? im not asking because of the length of your hair...i am asking because your hair is BROWN and i dont see many black women with brown hair. i usually think of biracial women having brown hair.
@CaligirlSofia i should make a vid defining the various terms...or at least my interpretation of them...seem to be a few mixups in the comments sections...
for the record...nappy/kinky is all the same to me...
@filcox mmm i think it varies. i think i look extra right with brown/red hair lol. but i'm also thinking about going back to a darker shade...its all about the health of the hair.
black women with brown or blonde BRITTLE hair? now that never looks right.
I started my hair care journey 2 years ago and I havent found a good everyday moisturizer. I tried Organic Root Stimulater carrot oil and the olive oil. Didnt like it so much.
@sashat100 - get a fucking clue, did you just join the internet world yesterday? There is a whole movement to embrace the term "nappy" as affirmative and positive. Use google asshole.
i use to go without washing my hair like you do but it was just to hard for me. i hated having dandruff and it was really nasty so i just started washing my hair like once or twice a week and my hair is really healthy now
Pantene has ingridents that coat the hair to make it seem healthy. orry not to sound snobby but my aunt works for pantene research and devolpment i would never ever use it. i like my hair healthy from the inner out not a fake immitation.

I respect that u seem to be searching for an audience of like minded people who possibly could use your help in uncovering the secrets to beautiful black hair. Which by the way you do have.
I also have beautiful black hair much longer and slinky than yours appears to be. My real concern is your use of the term NAPPY. I take great offense the usage of that term to discribe women of the african pursuasion.
It underminds the beauty of our people....please stop.
My question is, um is nappy a good thing? or a bad thing? or does it mean both just on how you use it? because i have no idea like a lot of people say nappy sometimes to say their hair is thick and other people say it to say it is tangled and ugly. so i am clueless on the definition.
Nappy means that your hair is in a very tight curl. Some people use this term in a negative way because they dislike them selves on some small level. Others say it when they are frustrated and having an annoying hair day.
its kind of all-purpose for me. i definitely embrace the term. i wouldn't name the series after it if i didn't. the only negative words i use towards my hair are transient - ex: dry, matted, etc. lol. they can be rectified with time and proper care. nappy hair is forever!!! gotta love it.
omg!!!! i just used alot of that ampro crap on my hair bc it hates to lay down bc i have type 4 hair...i will go immediately and wash my hair lol...whew thanks for telling me..used it once..and that is it! lol
i myself, am white, btut one of my best best friends has very nappy hair... and i have found a product that works like amazing on both of us... moroccan oil hydrating styling cream... its about $30.00 but totally worth every penny... give it a try
I appreciate you saying that chemical products can be just as good as natural..it realy does depend on what works for Your Hair!!....Ive been so tempted to go out and do a huge natural haul for poos and cond, but my Panten Pro Vi curly works just fine for me!!!....thank you again....Use what Works for YOUR hair....Peace*
Love your videos and your hair! Yeah, so I have that brown gel and I use it..and I know that it's bad for my hair but, what can I use instead as a natural alternative?! Please let me know. Thank you.
Hi can you tell me the pantene pro v product do you use like instructed or do you use it like a pomade? PLEASE LET ME KNOW I bough it for my 2 years old daughter and I can't wait to use it.
girl I love that you love hair products. I do too, but I'm not challenging you. I go to the beuaty supply store for fun to browse the aisles and see what raNdom products I can try....thats fun to me.
I love your full hair. I'm trying to grow my hair to be as long as yours. I been natural for about 4 years, but I started straightening it everyday and that messed it up so bad, so now I'm trying to fix that. But yeah, I'm going to try some of those products.
I love Emergencee. I bought Therappe and Humectress and heat protexx because I thought I'd love them as much as Emergencee but they're just OK. Emergencee is a definite staple for me though.
