Hi DD, its great that you take the time to preserve this stuff. There's one clip I've been hunting for years - On 31st March 1980 the apparent finale to Blake's 7 ; 'Terminal' was broadcast. The BBC controller, watching at home, was so impressed he decided on the spot to commission an extension.He immediately phoned thro' to the continuity announcer instructing him to announce live, over the closing credits, that there would be a 4th series after all! I was one happy little boy that night!
This could be from 3rd June 1982, of course my copy was rebroadcast on satellite channel UK Gold in the mid 90's and because all you lot have the same copy which you have from UK Gold.

They fly through those Tomorrow's World credits, don't they? The whole of that episode of Pops used to be on here, not any more, alas. It's Thursday 3rd June 1982.
Indeed, the speed of those credits is unusual for pre-1990s British TV. At the time people in the UK would have been more likely to associate credits rolling that fast with American shows.
TOTP was arguably never better than in the second half of 1981 and first half of 1982 - but then neither were the singles charts.

I have all about of the episodes from 1982 except 7th Jan and 28th Jan which were reshown on UK Gold. I have all the full complete ones, not edited.
I have a few unbroadcast ones that werent shown on UK Gold.
