@thebuckrogers22 You should read the books again. There were statues too. And a 3 ton statue wawing swords and axes are way more dangerous and awesome than a empty suit of armour. Yates simply sticked with the most awesome of the two. Yates did a good job. This scene amongst many others sent chills down my spine.

This made me cry when i first saw it and several times after that it really started to feel like the end and the nameless facless soldiers would lay down their lives in a manner of self sacrifice made me think of the forgotten soldiers of all the wars It felt like the school itself came alive to protect the people it cared for and the part that made me feel the worst was i read the books and i knew it would all be in vain.

I think Yates did a great job directing. Should have had a bit more scenes of the Battle of Hogwarts in there, and I have a couple complaints on how Bellatrix and Voldemort died...but that's just being a knitpicky Harry Potter nerd. Brilliant movie that was a great ending to a fantastic series. "Nuff said.

I've always admired Professor McGonagall so much. She add so much cute humor to each movie with her little one-lines. And how she is always so proud that Harry Potter is in her house! And who could forget that she was the one who recruted Harry for her Quiditch team? (: Plus, when she figured out in the middle of the series that she had brest cancer, Maggie Smith replied, "The show must go on." I love her! 1 Billion points for Gryfindor! :3

@jordododo yes the movies and the books have ended, and there shouldn't be anymore of either because harry potter is perfect the way it ended, but its not over. all of us, all of the fans will pass on the story to generations to come, harry potter will be kept alive forever. everyone will know the story of the boy who lived.
