@frednicholson My dad's 1972 Lemans GT 400 4spd has a Ram Air in it. We balanced and blueprinted it in 1980 and it still runs 13's today. Are you sure , sir? He optioned the American block instead of A/C and we're waiting for enough time , he and I , to get it back to street form. We have found an M-21 rock crusher , and as soon as I have dialed and balanced all the gears , as I am a professional gear and machining man , put it back in and have it back to near original. Wish us luck !
In 72 you could get a 455 HO with Ram Air... but not a 400. Also - that's still different than "Ram Air III", which is a particular type of motor (cam and heads), available only in 1969 and 1970. I am sure.
Perhaps the Canadian version of the LeMans was optioned slightly differently , but it looks exactly like the one in the picture , save for a repaint. I'll have to check with him. He still has the original window sticker in a photo album.
i saw the add on craigslist and just wanted to let you know this is literally the sickest gto i have ever seen in my life, i love this car and whoever built it
i had a buddy that had a 74 gto the same color.

1972 didn't come with ram air III, and the car's got none of the ram air induction.
